I'm not sure what the scriptwriters were thinking but episode 15 was meh? I was hoping they would end the ex girlfriend story but nope.. like whut? If I were Cheewan, I'd never gamble on Saruj lol. However, I'm thinking this must be part of Saruj's plan to force Cheewan to face her feelings? Hopefully that's what it is otherwise this drama is nothing like the other parts/series.
Episode 15 is very frustrating to watch. If Saruj really wavered, Cheewan is better off without him. Just go be pretty and travel the world lol. Cheewan was in denial of her own feelings but at least she never wavered, not even with Nop who she grew up with.
I was complaining that they should have not included Chat Kwan episode in Porcheewan to give more time to the main leads however after watching ep 15, I'd rather have that wedding than the ex girlfriend story.
Kao PP promotinal event was fun. Their chemistry is amazing. But episode 15 destroyed that lol. Time to rewatch all their promotional videos on tiktok lol (to erase ep 15).

I like Chat/Kwan story but it doesnt feel right that 1 episode in Poncheewan is just about their wedding when the main leads storyline isnt even properly explored. Like it doesnt make sense if they will resolve everything in just 1 episode. Their wedding should have happened in their drama, not in Poncheewan unless it will only be a short part like less than 5 minutes or so. There’s still the ex girlfriend and mother kratin issue (not to mention Cheewa and Poom story) and yet we have a wedding lol. The only wedding that should be in Poncheewan should be Cheewan and Saruj’s wedding.
Anyway, I saw a spoiler on youtube (with eng subs) for ep 15-16 and we’re most likely going down that way, everything will only be resolved in ep 16 :(

True. I saw a lot of complaints regarding Cheewan’s character on twitter. Even Saruj’s character is different. In the drama, sometimes they make her look stupid.
I read that due to Covid and budget problems, thay had to shoot most of it in Thailand. Cheewan in the novel is young but intelligent while Cheewan in the drama sometimes feel a bit childish.
The actors can act well, no question about that but the storyline and the scriptwriters deviated too much away from the novel.
Kao and PP’s chemistry is their only saving grace lol.

In the novel, Cheewan likes arts (she’s into painting) and Saruj bought her art materials and paid for her tickets to museums. She also stayed briefly with Saruj. 14. The only conflict they had was that Cheewan thought Saruj was the father but this was immediately cleared. 15. After Dalat’s death, Cheewa went back to Thailand accompanied by Saruj. Cheewan thought that Saruj would marry Cheewa even if he’s not the father for the sake of Cheewa’s reputation. 16. Saruj (when he went back to Thailand) actually asked his parents (Khun Chai Ruj and Than Ying Rasa) to asked for Cheewan’s hand in marriage. Kratin agreed and wrote a letter to Cheewan regarding the engagement. This letter was personally delivered by Saruj to Cheewan lol. However, the letter did not mention who the groom was lol. 17. I just came across a twitter account highlighting the differences between novel and drama and OP said that they were totally different. It’s like the scriptwriters decided to just use the name of the novel but produced an entirely different drama.
1. Almost all part of the novel was based in Italy. Only the last 2-3 chapters happened in Thailand. 2. Kratin (and family) was not an evil bitch 3. There is no P’Nop and family in the story. 4. Cheewan was not raised as a servant and she did not live with great grandma but with Aunt Ketsara’s family. 5. Cheewan is smart, lovable, intelligent, fluent in Italian and English. Apparently scripwriters made Cheewan have an inferiority complex in the drama. She has great manners and educated in the novel. 6. No ex-girlfriend trope in the novel. Though Saruj did have exes (mostly foreign women), they weren’t really part of the story. He did not like physical touch unless family / close friends. 7. Cheewan-Saruj love story is the main focus of the novel unlike in the drama where it feels like they were second leads. Saruj and Cheewan did get closer because of Cheewa’s pregnancy. 8. Cheewa-Poom story happened too fast. They have not found Dalat’s body and Cheewa’s already professing her love for Poom. In the novel, it took some time before they got together. Not right after Dalat’s death. 9. Nutsarit is in love with Cheewan and he confessed. So is Dalat but he never really confessed. There are a lot of guys who are into Cheewan but she never paid attention to it. There is also Eric (Nutsarit’s roommate) and Carlo (son of the owner of the apartment). 10. Dalat and Cheewa’s story only happened briefly. They already ended things even before the start of the novel but Cheewa only found out she’s pregnant months after. She did not go after Dalat. 11. However, I would still continue to watch this until the end because the chemistry of the main leads (Kao and PP) is amazing. Main lead is so handsome and the way he flirts is topnotch lol. Other than that, I much prefer the novel.

Will they make Dalat a bad guy or something cause honestly I cannot see Poncheewa and Khun Phum happening in less than 5 episodes? I also don’t like the idea that Cheewa will only choose Khun Phum after Dalat’s death. Like hello, he was the second lead in Dujupsorn and now still a second choice?
Cheewan’s family is annoying. All of them. The mother experienced being forced to marry someone she didnt like and now she’s doing it to her own daughter. Like please, let her figure out her own feelings.

In the novel it was almost 6 years after Jing goes missing to that point ... but in the drama it took like...6…
Right? Like there was no buildup whatsoever. It was narrated well in the novel but the drama seems to be rushing things. The first season followed the novel well while the second half skipped a lot of my favorite scenes. :(
They skipped a lot of important scenes from the novel. Empress trying to kill XY twice which eventually lead to CX confessing his feelings to XY; CX begging XY to love him etc.
They skipped parts on the novel that showed CX is also a human being who lacked nurturing love while growing up and his desire for XY to see him as someone more than a brother. How I wish they included this part instead of jumping to XY immediately finding out it was him who assassinated TSJ.
These episodes are long but feels like nothing much happens.
