I usually don't go for dramas like this but this one surprised me, it's really good. I remember Peak and PP from Dhevaprom so I decided to watch the first episode, I was hooked (I thought I would drop it after the 1st ep). Even though it's basically heavy family drama like your typical lakorn, it was told in an interesting way; it's gives you a glimpse of each character's complexity and why they became the way they are.

The mother is evil but she had a reason for being evil. The stepson wasn't always evil but he might become one in the future because of the cards he was dealt with. It's like every character's backstory was explained in a short but concise way. I was so used to watching lakorns with characters that are hard to understand but this one explains everything. The pacing of the story is just right. I mean (SPOILER), the main couple is already married at ep9, you don't usually see that in Thai dramas who loves to prolong everything. All the casts from minor roles to major roles, the acting is on point.

I was surprised to see PP all grown up in this role, the costume and the makeup here is so much better compared to her last drama. And Peak PP chemistry is really good.

Does anyone know how it performed in thailand? It was broadcasted under channel 1 / 31 right? Have they released the ratings yet vs lakorns of the same time slot?

I think the original novel has about 30 chapters.

So it was the decision of the scriptwriter to change everything and apparently she liked the character of Cheewa more than Cheewan that’s why she gave almost everything to Cheewa lol.

No wonder people are dragging her online. Even the novel author made a comment. It was that bad lol.

She gave all the good characteristics to Cheewa, leaving us with a childish Cheewan.

The title of the drama came from Saruj’s line at the end of the novel, not a combination of Cheewa and Cheewan’s name. The scriptwriter wanted Cheewa as the main lead not Cheewan, that’s why we were given a shitty storyline.

But instead of giving Cheewa a good story, she made it look like Cheewa is boy hopping from Dalat to Poom.

She couldve changed Switzerland to Thailand without changing much of the flow of the story but it was her decision to basically create a new storyline lol.

Natsarit’s love and Dalat’s hidden feelings for Cheewan, Cheewan’s love for the arts, her bubbly and lovable personality, her cheeky remarks to Saruj, Saruj’s personality, the way they fell in love.. all of these couldve been shown in the drama but no..

The first 4 parts in the series as well as the first 2 episodes, it was definitely novel Saruj but then things changed. The focus definitely shifted from Cheewan to Cheewa when they went back to thailand.

Hopefully Kao and PP would never work with that scriptwriter again.

Let’s say they did not elope but why live together? Muslin is not yet divorced. He knows she wants him and he did not do anything to stop it except the last part when she tried to kiss him.

He could have sent her and her mother somewhere else but no he had to go with her. And what’s with the massage?

Too many confusing details that were not needed.

Lol I was nodding while reading this. Like the scriptwriters were probably drunk when they made the script hahaha. They put too much screen time for Muslin and Khun Nawa and they just basically erased them at the end like they never existed. Not even proper closure. Even the Dalat story was too long.

So much potential for this story, unfortunately a crappy storyline destroyed it.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think Saruj will marry Cheewan while she is still a student. Not after graduation so no more time for her to run away lol.

Edit: she already graduated. So he did wait for her in the end.

I give this drama 6/10 because of Kao and PP, not because of the storyline. Too much issues with too little time to wrap everything up. Did Muslin just disappear lol. What happened in that 1 year they were separated? Apparently Poncheewan was supposed to have the lightest plot out of all the second gen stories but no they just have to include nonsense in this drama.

I don't really feel the Poom-Cheewa story like girl weren't you just brokenhearted when Dalat left you? Then you reconciled and you were so happy you even introduced him to great grandma On? Then he died and a year later you're marrying someone else? He's not even buried yet and you were already by Poom's side. The scripwriters didn't give them enough time to develop their own story.

And Cheewan sweetheart you are too pure for a grown ass man Saruj. How could you accept someone who eloped with his ex? No letter no call nothing? He's a member of the royal family and they portrayed him like that? The cousins even sent them off like it was nothing?

Also, they made it look like that all this time Saruj was not sure of his feelings for Cheewan? It was like he was still weighing between Cheewan and Muslin up until the last episode. Weren't you the one who shamelessly went after Cheewan? If Mother Kratin and Father Klao find out about this, they'll be mad. They were always right about now wanting Saruj as a son in law.

The drama started out as fun and cute but it went downhill from episode 10 onwards. Kao and PP (as well as the rest of the cast) were amazing, too bad the script was messy. Hope you guys meet again in a different project with a better script and director.

I wonder how the novel author reacted to the drama adaptation? If it was me I'd be really mad and disappointed? Like what did you just do to may hardwork? They basically destroyed Saruj and Cheewan's character. No way in hell would novel Saruj act like that with an ex.

I hope someone can translate the novel into english for us international fans. Would really love to get to know the novel version of these characters.

And it's over. I don't know what to feel about the ending. Until the end, it wasn't just about them huhu. Happy scenes were too short. Muslin story was buried like it never happened. What happened to her lol?

Yep. Cast is amazing. They have a movie coming out I think so we will see more of Kao and PP. So freaking annoyed that they literally just brushed over the big elephant in the room (Muslin issue) like Saruj did not just elope with her. I was hoping it was sort of part of the five monkeys' plan to force Cheewan but no, it was Saruj's choice all along. The only good thing is that Saruj was not living with her for a year but just a month or so. lol

In the novel, they almost have no problem. Saruj was always their to help Cheewan solve her problems but the drama made too much issues they could not properly wrap up everything.

Time skip. probably flashback on how they reconciled. And the ex girlfriend is still in the story. Like how the fuck can you mess up a novel this much? No wonder people on twitter are mad hahahah

Kratin has always been right. Mother's instincts the best. Saruj at this point is just an indecisive grown ass man with no backbone. I really love the novel Saruj though. It's been a year and if I were Cheewan I'll go date someone else.

Watching the finale hoping for redemption but nah.... ex girlfriend is still in the picture and there are only a few minutes left. Such a waste of wonderful actors. They made Cheewan stupid literally, while Saruj never even thought of contacting her really? And they still live together even after what the ex did?

I used to blame Cheewan for being too tightlipped but I realized it was because she was young, afraid and not sure of herself. Saruj is literally a grown ass man with experience in love while Cheewan has none. I'd rather Cheewan be single and achieve her dreams of travelling the world than be with Saruj; she will always compete with the ghost of Muslin in their relationship.

And now they're pulling off crazy ex girlfriend story.. the crazy ones here are the scriptwriters hahahaha

Apparently the novel version is also shorter than the other series (Dujupsorn etc). They have the least conflict among the five. The scriptwriters probably thought let’s add ex girlfriend to the story to make it longer.

They received a lot of backlash online lol. People complaining about how they ruined Saruj’s and Cheewan’s character. Now people are saying they are only watching it for the main leads.

The story of the real PP and Kao are much better rather than the drama version. I’m watching their videos to forget ep 15 hahahaha.

If the scriptwriters somehow managed to make saruj a red flag by not explaining what just happened in ep 15, this will probably the worst out of the 5 series.

I just hope that they have a pretty solid explanation otherwise they would just ruin the good chemistry between Kao and PP.

Wondering if this is like the first story directed / written by the scriptwriters? Like hell no this was not made by someone with a long experience in lakorns.

They did not only make Saruj a red flag but also the rest of the Juthatep cousins like who the hell pushes your cousin to basically elope with the ex? The scripwriters must have been high when they wrote this episode.

I’m just hoping they would make ep 16 good. Resolve all the issues. Because if I were Cheewan and he won’t give me a good explanation, I’d drop his ass the soonest. I’ll be like “No I never loved you and my parents were right about not wanting you for me.”

Now I understand Kratin’s reason for not accepting Saruj. Mother’s instincts huh.

I don’t know how they managed to ruin a perfectly good novel. You already have a good storyline why bother changing it?
