btw all the songs are out nowjust search ็ตๅฐไฝ้ on your preferred music service
Thank you so much! I really like the singer Eason Lee! His songs are so suitable for Taiwan BLs! I'm still waiting for that male version of the episode ending theme song from Kiseki Dear To Me to be available! I really can't take the female singer because every time I wear her voice it just takes me out of that story.
In a time of countless and mindless BLs coming out from Thailand right now, this is the kind of slice of life Thai BL that I need right now. The handsome lead actors have such beautiful natural chemistry and eye acting. I also love the lakorn-ish comedic acting from the secondary characters. I find myself smiling while watching this. Such a beautiful touching confessing at the of Ep4. Judging from next week's preview, it seems like Yang may have a crush on Phumjai too? Now this is the kind of ๐ฉ๐ช๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ฏ ๐ข๐จ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ข that I want in a BL! Yes bring back some romance! Not many Thai BLs gives me that now. And I LOVE the OST! Beautifully sung by the boys! One of the better new BLs currently playing now for sure!
If they want to support the voice actors, they should at least let the actors lip sync so we can know if they…
Yes if they can schedule in a voice actor for the post production, I don't see why can't they do that for the actors. It's common practice for professional studios to ADR in a studio. Something must have happened during the production to make them do this. It looks like a fix from my POV.
If my lover uses our love as inspiration for his acting role, I would actually be flattered. An artist needs inspiration and if I'm his muse, I'll be so happy and glad that he included our emotions and love into his craft. That shows I mattered in his heart to make such an impression. Isn't that what everyone wants from their lovers? To matter and be remembered into their lover's heart and mind as well? That is why it is difficult to date an artistic person because all they can draw from in their art is from real life or inspiration. It takes a really secured and mature person to wholly accept another artistic person for who they are. Punn is just too childish to realize that. He has a child-like maturity level as comepared to Ashi who have a more broader rich life experience as an actor. Bosston I'm so glad to see some emotional acting this week from you. Please keep going for more auditions as I believe you have the potential to be a great leading actor. Thai BL industry needs you hot Daddy! Hilarious to see some lakornish acting from the beginning . I wish they added more to this series. One more episode to go. Might as well finished it since I'm watching for JaFirst.
Catching Tiger, Hidden KhonDiao. What a revelation at the end of Ep2! It looks like the accident made Yi remembered a past memory where he shared a traumatic experience with a young KhonDiao. This reveal is important and gives us a context to why KhonDiao is the loner all these years and and why Yi felt responsible to take care of him. More disturbing was another revelation that Yi uncovered with KhonDiaoโs car.
Somebody wants to harm KhonDiao and it feels like pointing to KhonDiaoโs Step Mom and step family siblings?
I had a chuckle when Yi thought Lian was the one he thought was having affair with. Now give us another BL series starring these two alpha gays! I need this in my life too! Come on Domundi! letโs switch it up a little!
Now Iโm worried for KhonDiao and Yi. Thereโs gonna be more hidden agendas for them to undercover next! Now this is truly the reveal of the century and I canโt wait to find out next week!
After all that happened in the earlier episodes, they decided to show us the emotional journey of their relationship. Ok fine. This is the kind of slice of life BL drama that I like because Perth and Chimon are so good in their acting. They made these characters so believable and nothing is ๐ฉ๐ช๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ฏ on their faces. Watching them bring the emotions of their characters is such a joy. The supporting cast are hilarious and I truly enjoyed their performance as well.
I agree. This is unwatchable because of the dubbing. It's unnatural and annoying. I'm dropping.
Yeah totally distracting us from the viewing experience! I'm shocked that Frank is here I'm sad for him. The reply to the fan was so condescending like as if we are not 'open' enough. I rather they state this earlier in their promos that the dub is there for a reason to support their industry. Yeah dropped it can't watch anymore!
it's like they think we are complaining about the dubbing because we are not 'open' enough. This is already a same sex love series we are already wide open in our minds! When we see something wrong shouldn't we say something? In terms of dubbing, it is really monotonous and affecting our viewing pleasure. It can be very distracting and we do have so many BL choices anyway.
I did a little digging about the dubbing situation on Twitter/X and someone from Star Thai Production with the handle /@ TwinsSeries explained the reason why they used dubbing:
I really don't get the reason why they did this! I watched it and it was really unwatchable for me! I'm a fan of Frank and always wanted to see what he is up to. But I'm shocked! It felt unnatural and really messed up the whole production value! As best we will take this production as a film student project but I'm surprised this was on WeTV and GagaOOLala!
Somebody actually paid for a student project?!! OMG!
First of all, don't anyone piss off P'Jennie! She is my Forever BL Queen!
Sand and Ray, I hope they will have a Happy Ending. I need this couple to just get the happiness they truly deserved. I don't know why some of their intimate scenes were cut off from the trailers. Come on! Gotta serve us what you advertised Director! Don't leave these out! First and Khao's acting is just chef kiss. Really enjoyed their characters so much!
Force and Book are the eye candies of this series and there's nothing wrong with it. I prefer this couple's chemistry than other recent new GMMTV BL Couples. At least they seemed to be a bit more comfortable in their acting and is not cringeworthy like another 'newcomer' BL couple's series airing after this. This couple don't make me cringed as much as that other couple where one of them have a serious acting skill deficit. Force and Book are fine in their cute ways. If you donโt like them you can watch other basic BL series thereโs so many of them now.
Boston, what a brilliant SOB! I love Neo's acting and I'm so glad he had found a fantastic role for him to shine! I hope GMMTV producers give him a proper lead series! There are so many of these experienced actos waiting for their moment to shine. Please don't neglect these talents!
Didn't she literally say that it used to also be said to guys in the past ? Maybe old fashion but I don't think…
Thank you for this! Appreciate this context! Hopefully more people will be able to understand why this was problematic. I just checked with my Korean gay 'brothers' and they say only use this term in only within certain gay circles. In generally they don't use this unless its agreed with the other party. Example if it's a drag queen then it's okay because that's what I address my Korean drag friends as 'Sis' or 'Unnie'. Because it's already established between us when we first introduced ourselves years ago. And it's never really used by a woman on a guy. So this was problematic. In my context, I address my gay friends as 'Bro' because I'm not Korean and it's okay to do that. Within their Korean gay circle, it's Hyung or Oppa(it can be used too).
Cute leads, Weak Plot. I only stayed for the kissing and candy sharing scenes because there's no real story here. It looks like they just gathered whatever scenes they had filmed and just patched it for the finale. Annoyed with the 'Unnie' fiancee Kim Young again. She's the worst part of this series. Heres a tip for all straight Korean women trying to show support for their new found gay friends. Stop calling gays 'Unnie'. Treat us as your typical Oppa friend. Calling us 'Unnie' doesn't make you closer to us. It actually makes us feel disgusted and invalidated. Not all of us uses this term in our community. So stop it. It is derogatory term to use on gay guys especially Lee Jun is not exactly a feminine guy. He is just a normal guy who happens to be gay.
A missed opportunity for this series because I can see many potential with the main leads but the stories here are basic and characters are seriously undeveloped. But this is what I expected from a basic entry level BL series, one that doesn't really want to touch on queer themes. I know the lines are blurring but theres so many other queer content for us so actually watch this if you have time to waste. One of the worst disappointment of the year for BL series this year. Rating: 4.5/10
I can watch this version without the need to refer to the OG Thai version because its almost 3 years ago and I can't remember most of the details. This Korean version is short and adorable. I prefer the second CP (SunWoo and YooKyeom) rather than the first CP cos I felt their acting is more natural and have more intense chemistry. Their eye acting is more believable and relatable.
Man-Trisanu Soranun is here? OKAY I'm in! He's such a dreamboat! And I love Dark Humor!
This series is insane! Thought provoking and certainly not for the faint hearted BL/Kdrama regulars. Please stick to the basic rom-coms that you are used to. After-all this is a Thai Netflix production and I expect edginess and gritty dark humor. I havenโt watch the OG movie but maybe will try to check it out after finishing this.
Davika is everything. Beautiful and yet unafraid to show the ugly side of her character Toom. Such a Queen! She is hypnotic and at times very sympathetic. You just just want to go on her journey to see how far she will go to fight for money in a very stressful dire time of our lives. I was surprised to see a Pandemic drama here but hey it was a crazy dark time to even reflect on it now. The craziness in this series is just perfect way to express those emotions. The absurdity works to digest all the confusions we felt during that time and even come out of post-pandemic recovery.
Same with ManTrisanu's sexy scenes. I wanted more scenes! He really goes all the way and I like that for actors that takes the opportunity and run! I hope to see more projects from him but this was a perfect series to show another side of his acting skills. Please cast him in more projects Thai casting directors!
Foei was a bit annoying and I wish they could have his scenes cut because it was a little bit of a drag to see his scenes. Luckily, we have a whole cast of kooky characters to keep us entertained and challenge our sanity. Cinematography is stunning!
What happened to my Khondiao? Why are you suddenly so unsure about Yi? Yi's so smitten with you and you don't even want to initiate 'finger pointing' with him when he wanted some intimacy? Excuse me, this is not Minato Shouji Coin Laundry Season 2 okay? Cold shoulder treatments and now amnesia? ARE U KIDDING ME? What exactly had Yi done wrong to Diao? He doesn't deserved to be given the cold shoulder from Diao. He's such a hardworking boyfriend trying his best to work hard to provide more for Diao and he is waiting for a proper time to get married and now he' s in a crash because Diao wants to be alone to see the cows in Switzerland all of a sudden? They need to communicate more! What is happening to my beloved characters? I expected more maturity and development in their love. I want to see domestic life and not Diao having a crying fit fall at Suvarnabhumi Airport! WHAT A MESS! By the way, Daddy Makorn yes sir why am I looking more at you too Zaddy? Stop teasing me with your Tai Chi Kung Fu Martial arts moves you sexy Daddy! ๐ญ
Oh wow! I really really like the 2nd couple Sun Woo and Yoo Kyeom! They have some serious chemistry going on and their eye acting is so good! I got goosebumps when they kissed while at the restaurant. There's so much sweetness and tenderness! I'll probably watch this for the 2nd couple from now on.
Not gonna even compare this to the Thai version because they are totally different in vibes and style. Out of the four actors, I think the Ji Oh character needs to be further developed. I hope next week Lee Ye Hwan will show us more range than this 4 episodes or else I'm just gonna watch the 2nd couple because they do have a better screen presence than the two main leads.
I watched this first episode because I needed something new to cleanse my BL palate with a slate of unknown BL newcomers. This was tolerable compared to the recent BL duds. We have another BL set in a supermarket just like 'Love In Translation' currently playing at the same time. Luckily the plot is not hidden and the characters' agendas were easy to follow. The sex scenes of Janus and his bf was kinda comical and hilariously campy. It feels like a sitcom-ish vibe with the dialogue and I was surprised by the decent acting from Cheque and Tontae who played brothers. I feel this could be a shorter episode as some scenes lingered on too long. I see that the Doctor Sky is trying to reconciled with Venus and may have broken his heart before. I like this pairing and would like to see more their story. Gonna give this another chance next week.
I'm still waiting for that male version of the episode ending theme song from Kiseki Dear To Me to be available!
I really can't take the female singer because every time I wear her voice it just takes me out of that story.
