This is a classic enemies to lovers BL series focusing on Chinese and Thai cultures working together in a business setting. Something that is already happening now in Thailand with many Chinese investors opening joint-businesses with Thai partners.
I noticed from my last trip to Thailand couple months ago, some Thai businesses can speak Chinese too so this show is really on point with current developments in Thailand.
I also like the comedy, some scenes are funny and relatable, and also the inclusion of a darker skin character. I hope more Thai BL series will include characters with darker skin tone because Thailand have a really beautiful diverse population.
The cast is funny and deliver on their acting so I can relax and don’t have to worry about their acting.
Looking forward to the next episode because I was smiling at the end of Ep1. Not many shows can do that now so I’m hoping this gets better and funnier! :)

Louder!!! Thank you for this! I’m surprised some here people here fail to see why it’s problematic for her to use ‘Unnie’ on Lee Jun. They also fail to see the prejudice that gay guys goes tru especially when Fujoshis think it’s funny to use this label on them. It’s almost like calling another gay person ‘sissy’, not like being sissy is wrong but the derogatory manner it is used on feminine gays. it’s so wrong. What happened to this series? We had so much hopes for it and now… I’m really here for the eye candies then.

I think this character was created just to insert the female writer POV into the story and to say the line ‘Unnie’ so that she can feel like part of the story. Also to look down and insult all gays with this term. To normalize the further degradation of gay characters on screen. Because maybe she feels it’s okay for a Fujoshi like her to ‘relate’ and insult all gays. Maybe?

I expected better treatment for female characters because I LOVE my female Allies so much and hope to see them represented here.
This fiancée character is useless, pointless and a waste of opportunity to show that, despite the fact that she may seemed supportive but since she used this term ‘Unnie’? Forget it then.

Really fantastic two episodes and this series deserves higher rating. I don’t know what’s happening, maybe some dubious people are again trying to lower this down, just like Be My Favorite before this because their ship is sinking and this one is just sailing perfectly well! We actually have back to back 2 quality classic GMMTV series! With BL actors that can actually ACT & EMOTE! The supporting cast are a delight too! The twists here are funny and at times, touching! I enjoyed their performance and production value!If they keeps this up, we are gonna have a really good BL classic show for the ages to come!

Yup judging from the OST MV, I love their chemistry so much and I know this series is gonna be another classic GMMTV gem!
I love the cast too! Everyone is so good in their roles, acting is so effortless and just a very easy relaxing watch.
Yas Grandma knows everything and what a nice twist, Kanghan comes to rescue Sailom instead of threatening him. OMG So F4 feels. So Sweet!
Friday nights is truly quality GMMTV BL nights again after Be My Favorite. Please keep this up GMMTV!

Please say it louder because some fujoshis don't get it at all and think it's fine to use these labels on gay characters. Especially when they have opportunity to create queer content and we as queer people are watching this too and providing feedback to provide a more thorough context.
Hey it's our stories being told too and we would like very much to be represented correctly, even tho the writer is a female. I hope they are reading our comments here. Take in every good and bad to make their projects better next time!

It's so insulting for me to watch this as a gay guy. It's so silly and I can't believe people don't see the toxicity of this 'relationship' . Such a bad introduction to this kind of relationship and I might be dropping this next week if I see anymore manipulation too as I'm only here for the eye candies tho, truly. Haha

How can emotional blackmail not be toxic?
ZeRui is a criminal and putting an innocent guy like ZongYi, who was a good Samaritan helping him, in this abusive situation. ZongYi or anyone does not deserve this kind of treatment from any stranger. I don't find this situation romantic either. How can anyone find this romantic? Any logical person would go to the cops straight away.

Ok this was funny and cheeky! And it's nice to see cameos from MaxNat. At least they got straight to the story and it's interesting to see a different interpretation of this story. I was laughing so much and I guess I'll keep on watching. They are so adorable! At least they can act!

I find it very problematic, insulting and very disrespectful for Kim Young to address Lee Jun as 'Unnie' or 'Sis' because they are not even close friends.
This is only used by Korean gays to address each other only if they very close friends. And only if they had already established that earlier in their friendship.
So inappropriate and especially so rude for a random female acquaintance like her to call Lee Jun that.
And not all Korean gays use that term too.
Even among gay friends, Lee Jun address Hyun Jae as 'Hyung' or 'brother' too, instead of 'Unni'.
Not cool at all! So disrespectful to other gay guys.
Only the ignorant female writer of this series who think it is cute and fun to use as a comedic term.

Arranged marriages seems to be trendy suddenly in recent BLs and I'm already tired of it. Hopefully this gets resolved tastefully.
Other than that, I'm here for the eye candies since this is just a silly BL show for laughs as each episode seems to be getting worser and worser.

I really had high hopes for this series especially after watching the trailer, and thats why I come back to watch it hoping maybe we will get another Semantic Error but more like system error here in the scriptwriting department.

Series reminded me of those HIStory series where I know there's lots of shouting around and angsty acting. Which is why I'm a bit wary of watching this.
Injured gangster taking a medical student in a blackmail and hostage situation after he had saved his life. How grateful huh?
I guess ZongYi will fall in love with his captor ZeRui in a stockholm syndrome fate?
And then gradually the captor becomes domestic with his victim after 10 days of hostage situation. Even making lunch for him. Okay, I guess that's romantic for some people?
ZongYi deserves to be angry because I would be if I'm being blackmailed in this situation. Throw in some past family traumas with fear of rain, darkness and lightning.
ZeRui comforts him. Redemption arc? Character development?
Oh dear, I wonder what other tropes the next episode will bring.
But I'm here for the eye candies.

It is 2023, there is no need to hide in a loveless marriage. Much less an arranged fake heterosexual marriage, especially in an open society like Thailand which have been accepting all kinds of people. Gays have more choices and some may not even want gay marriages either.

Although gay marriage is still not recognized there, I personally do have gay friends in Thailand who are “married” with kids via surrogate with another lesbian couple. And their families knew all about it. Yes, there are actual gay families in Thailand. As long as their parents are busy with the grandkids, they are living together happily, running their businesses and just waiting for their government to catch up.

I'm annoyed with Yiwa. She is actually gonna ruin Nuea's life with that arrangement.
It is selfish and insulting to an innocent guy like Nuea.
Nuea deserves a better guy than Lom. Lom's words are cheap and his actions speaks otherwise. If you really love someone, you make sacrifices for him. And you respect him the way he is supposed to be treated. You don't put him in an unfair situation where he will forever be regarded as a home-wrecker. You will live your life bravely with your own truth knowing that at least you are not living a lie.

To live a lie is just wasting your life. While the boys decides to resign themselves to this arranged fate, fortunately, Yiwa ran away with Marine from the wedding!
I hope next week's finale will resolve it nicely with her coming to terms with her mother.

Exactly!!! It's also like damn if the BL actors are really Gay in Real Life too! They can be gay but only onscreen and damn if they do come out and be themselves. Then they are ridiculed and tagged with labels like fem or sissy when these gay guys are masculine and just normal dudes.

I was actually offended by another BL Watcher asking me what's the difference between BL and Queer story (check my latest comment here). Can you imagine me explaining my sexuality to these Fujoshis?
