Sugar is a drug, beer is a drug, cigarattes are drugs. Depends what you acept or don't to be honest. For me drug use depends on functionality or destruction. But for this specific drama, there are characters who heavily drink, heavily smoke cigarettes, and those who dabble in cocaine, weed, and sleeping pills. How much cocaine use? We don't know as we just got a glimpse of Ray using it with Mew. I think there was some weed use in earlier episodes if I remember correctly where Nick, Sand, Ray and Boston had a field day with it.
Also like someone said, Weed is now legal in Thailand. Maybe you'll see it's not too prominent like drinking is.

He is so good! Like I know some people didn't like his silly characters, but those characters were so memorable and he played them so well that sometimes you thought he was like that. But seeing his more mature side (though still immature) is refreshing. He can look soft, fierce, cunning, and silly...that's hard to do as an actor. He deserves more leading roles.

This show is way better than Cutie Pie. The characters are fleshed out a bit more and the story makes better sense. Kon Diao's father doesn't even realize that his wife and the "uncle" as plotting other things behind his back, so he thinks he is still in charge. He was just simply using Diao to get money and land from the Chens, but his greedy wife, bro, and children want more. Diao is someone people would dismiss as dumb/naive, but I like that he can figure things out and is putting it together. Nat needs to work more on his expressions and crying face, but other than that, he is doing better than in Cutie Pie.
I need a MaxZee drama. I want a story where these two are rivals (company-wise) and always competing in the same market, but deep down they are pining for each other. Then one night at some gala they get so heated over some contract and then they just make out or rather Zee makes the move and Max is stumped. Then Zee doesn't know what to do with himself and hides from Max and avoid any situation they could be in his company starts to suffer and the board of directors demands that he step down and then Max buys the company from under Zee's nose and becomes the new owner. It was all a plan to give Zee total control of his own company but he doesn't let Zee know he is the owner, meanwhile, he is pursuing Zee and their public encounters become the talk of the town (often with them fighting about something) Both are treated like some royals and paparazzi can get enough of the two hot men.
I love Neo! I love Boston...that look he had when looking at the picture. That longing....the way he made that zipper gesture with Top, the way he knew Cheum's little brother was hinting at something...the way he warned him...Boston may be an a-hole but he is honest with people about who he is. Unapologetic! He does care for Nick but he doesn't realize it because he doesn't know what truly being in love with someone looks like. He had no real example in his life...his parents obviously split in a bad way, and his father seems like the Casanova type as well so probably was showing a lot of toxic machismo crap around Boston. I love that he said, "I was born gay, I've always liked men" (obviously not in those words) and this is such a big moment in BL history because we rarely get any characters actually saying this. It's often the "I'm only gay for you" crap, but Boston is one of the few characters we can safely say is Gay and Proud.
His friends are all toxic in some way or another and they don't enable him to be better either because they are all caught up in their own sh**
Ray is a mess. I can only see this going one of two ways, he goes to jail for either killing someone while driving (maybe Sand), goes to jail for overdosing (gets brought back to life but gets arrested for this though he should get help and not prison obviously), gets arrested buying drugs from an undercover which is how he gets help as well to treat his addiction, or he dies in the end. To be completely honest, the director of this drama likes to be as close to reality as possible so chances of him killing off a character are very plausible. Ray is manipulative and that was very obvious from the get-go so he was never someone I was rooting for, but learning about his addiction, his depression, his suicide ideations, etc. I know he deserves some help, but you can only help someone if they are willing to help themselves. I saw a few comments below that talk about how none of his friends are there to help him get better, but unless you have been surrounded by people with addiction and mental health issues, you don't know how hard that is. I know from personal experience that if the person don't want to help themselves, no matter how much you try they will not succeed. I know of a recent loss of someone I knew that I was trying to help achieve sobriety, but I just couldn't get him the help he needed. He refused me every step of the way. I would take him to the program, and I would go with him to his court dates, but nothing I did was enough. It was exhausting mentally and I wanted to give up on them, but I didn't. They gave up on themselves and sadly passed away from an overdose. He struggled a lot mentally and had many untreated traumas, but I hope that part of him was at least aware that some of us cared (sorry for the personal anecdote)
IF anything positive can come out of Ray's issue, is that his struggles and issues do not go in vain and some real issues are treated with care to show that people like him can and do overcome addiction and can live fulfilling lives after.

Top--I'm sure you are the one who called the cops so they can take Ray out of the picture. This makes him just slimy still cause you could have potentially gotten everyone else arrested too. everyone seems to be collateral damage for people like Top and Ray when they do what they do.
Cheum--Girl please, you are as bad as the boys. This character is so frustrating. She acts like a holy saint of the LGBTQAI+ community, but the girl is a drunkard who can't even communicate with her significant other and rather lies to her. And Ray is right, she was only friends with Mew everyone else was a convenient friend for her but did she really care about them? She wants to call Boston disgusting and such, but why was she associating with him, to begin with then? Cause deep down Boston made it interesting. The same with Ray, she liked what came with being his friend, because undoubtedly Ray probably paid for the drinks and the outings they did. There were benefits to her association with them.
I am not rooting for anyone really; all of them need to go their separate ways and make new positive and meaningful friendships that can help them foster better behaviors. Together they are all toxic to each other.
The only person here that seems decent is April. The girl got too much on her hands with this bunch of children.😭😭
