There is a youtube gay married couple where the husband is also losing his sight like Day. Every time I see Day and Mhok being domestic, I just think of that couple. I can't wait for the time when DayMhok are a pair and they wear cute couple clothes and cook together the way that Yt couple do...I love the domestic side of couples so cute!
Can't hate on August...must be a lot for him to deal with someone he was close with suddenly disappearing from his life and then learning he is going blind...I think August may have had feelings for Day as well and that's why it hurts him a lot. I kept thinking what if Day liked August because of how nervous he was...and then Bam...that really was the case. My heart broke for him...when he was finally ready to take that leap, August just didn't show up and then going on a "fake" date with Mhok where Day found a bit of happiness, still didn't help heal him. Then August showing up and leaving..that was totally heartbreaking too. I just hope that August doesn't become a problem and just reject Day in a kind way so Day can move on (to Mhok)
I am going to watch it again because there was soooo many meaningful moments and conversations....this episode was all about discovery, realization, curiosity, and the instrumental was so well placed!!!
OMG it was a long day at work and i couldn't watch this episode 😫 but but i finally sat down with the lights out and the rain hitting my window and it was just soooo perfect!!!! I loved loved ❤ this episode. These two have improved so much.
I have seen some comments that are not "happy" with the choice of work by OffGun with this, but I'd like to remind these people that doing these types of dramas centered around romance and comedy can be as equally hard to do as critical acclaimed movies/shows. To be able to act in these dramas and convince people that you are a funny and romantic character can be hard to do. Not everyone has comedy chops...
I honestly don't know where to place my expectations :D I have watched the original Japanese adaptation and love…
This is not a redo though. It is and adaptation of the source itself, the manga, so they will have many different things to show us. plus the manga is already passed what the Japanese drama recorded.
That fish tank scene...it was such a Romeo and Juliet moment *Leo and Claire Danes* it had a wistfulness and childlike curiosity/wonder about it, for both Mhok and Day. The filming is just really nice and I hope it remains that way.
