So true about the scene with Karan's thoughts. I rather that moment be free of us listening it to it, because it allowed for his thoughts to remain not only private to the two of them, but also magical in its own way. Our intrusiveness in knowing his thoughts would have cheapen the scene.

Both are great in their own way, but the Thai version was able to flesh out the characters more. However, J version has such a high place in my heart thanks to Kurosawa! But watch it, it is worth it.
I am not a big fan of Korean dramas, but this one was super interesting and really had me engaged in a way no other Korean drama had (mind you I've been watching Kdramas since 2002...so I've seen my share) this was a nicely adapted story.
Okay finally able to sit down and watch this twice...
Overall my daughter was pissed .She didn't like that Samsi got together with Prem's sister...she said all this time he had better chemistry with the "blonde dude" and I told her sometimes chemistry doesn't equate to romance. You will find that you can have a platonic soulmate. She's still young so I know that she doesn't really get it as much.
I think this last episode was good, but to be honest, I thought there was a lot of plotholes. I'm sure that the uncut version had a more fleshed out story, but even then I think they focused too much on certain things and dropped the ball on others.
Multi-season series are really a western thing. Asian dramas are typically one season and most are based on novels.…
I do get that, but they can always try and see. Entertainment media is always changing and it's possible that one day some company might decide to try their hand at that type of story telling. I can only dream LOL
I wish companies would do an actual series like Arrow or Grey's with BL characters and that it doesn't end at just 12 episodes, but rather the story just keeps evolving. can we please have something like that? This series isn't spectacular, not saying it's bad... it is still pretty good and solid, but I feel like the story has many sacrificial plots and it would have been amazing to see them fleshed out more.

I want to interject between you and ljkmst...you are both correct in the assessments of Ten. I do agree that violence isn't the answer and as someone who was so level headed and non-confrontational, this just seemed very out of character.
But I also agree with @ljkmst, that Chang Ma was clearly being a weirdo and pushy knowing that Prem wasn't interested. He coms off as a villainous character now. But you are also right that Ten is an adult with his own autonomy and writers need to do better for characters like that. All this time, Chang Ma was not being shown as unreasonable or evil, so there was no real fear for Prem not to state clearly that he isn't interested in him and that he is actually dating Ten.
