From how I interpretted it at least, dance was the barrier to their relationship. Dancing is their lives, but they could never be partners in a dance, hence will always have been 'enemies', competitors, but never partners, or by extension, lovers. Yet when they danced and kissed on that dance floor, I felt it was pretty symbolic that they've broken through that barrier and acknowledged that, yes, they can be partners and lovers in dance. I do wish we saw a lot more of their relationship developing, but I'm seeing this as merely a prequel to a hopefully more relationship-heavy sequel (manifesting for one)

Soooo agreed!!! I absolutely wholeheartedly love love LOVE the dances, cannot even imagine how long it took the actors to get to that level!!

But I also really wanted more romanceeeeee, but I also understand it's just begun to develop. So I'm manifesting for a sequel now :))

The ending was abrupt, and I was kinda shocked when it just ended like that, but I guess there really was no other way of rounding it off since they cut it right before getting to the 10 Dance competition. But I still feel like it could've been done with a little more effort

Beautiful, raw, emotional, passionate, just perfection in a nutshell. Their dances .. oh my goodness .. I may not be a dancer or anything, but god they were BEAUTIFUL. The chemistry and the tension were palpable, you could literally slice it with a knife, I'm actually left shaking in my seat after watching this absolute masterpiece.

I do wish the ending was rounded off with a bit more effort, but overall, I really did love the story, it was gripping, and my eyes could not leave the screen at all. We did not see a lot of their relationship developing, which I completely understand as it is merely the start of it, really really hoping there will be a sequel for this movie.

Ep 25 really made me notice why I like Tang LiCi so much (obviously apart from the fact that he's so ridiculously OP and gorgeous). When WanYu pointed out LiCi has changed because of the people around him, he didn't quip back or doubt that, instead he seemed to actually appreciate that he has changed for the better. For someone who was always so adamant about saying he never does things for the good of others, I was quite surprised by how accepting he was of WanYu's observation. Really made me appreciate his character on another level. This is adding on to the fact that he's actually very self-conscious about how 'weak' he truly is inside, as evidenced by when he told ChunJi often the strongest people have the weakest hearts (paraphrased). He's incredibly clear about his own character/personality and doesn't try to lie to himself, which is often something people can't really do

Also I definitely still find A Shei suspicious, especially when we have no idea how she has that power and how she knows about it, but I also don't think she's bad (hopefully). I love this girlie pls don't let me be disappointed

My goodness, I've never been one to really notice costume designs, but LYX's costumes in Whispers of Fate was just spectacular, honestly many of LYX's costume dramas have fabulous costume designs. And just one look at this lady's design history, and oh wow, I'm blown away at how many dramas she's been involved with, and of all the ones I've watched, I remember particularly that I was impressed with their costumes (especially TTEOTM and FoF), kudos to her and her amazing designs

Haha did not expect to see my boy Xia ZhiGuang here, not just him though, there are so many familiar faces in the support cast too
