Too many characters who died for nothing or too fast, I so agreed. Dali's death, I guess made sense in a retribution way, but I didn't like how they did her character so dirty. And I simply cannot believe that PianPian and BingZhu were able to take down 3 ancient demon lords that easily.

XiaoYao is definitely reliving her past memories because of her pain of losing HongYe, I doubt she believes he would come back to her again. The ending seriously sucked, not just because it was a sad one but because it doesn't make any sense to me. There must've been a better way to seal the Yuli thing without sacrificing HongYe ..

Tbh, for me, it's not just the ending that was horrible, and I mean horrible not because it's sad because sad endings can be done well, this one just didn't make any sense to me. But apart from the ending, the whole storyline just seems like a wasted potential, demons acting like teenagers, non-existent character developments, and the whole time travelling/paradox thing barely made sense to me.

Unless XiaoYao had the exact same copy/paste personality across all her three lives, it wouldn't make sense that she was able to completely integrate into those past lives and no one noticed anything off. On top of that, what exactly happened to the original owner of the bodies? Conveniently, XiaoYao dies both times after she takes over the bodies, so we never find out whether the original souls might come back with extra memories from the future after XiaoYao returns to her timeline.

Agreed, her dad was just completely abandoned and she has had no close family/friends at all, apart from her little harem of demon lords. But her 'going back again' technically doesn't even work like that, because the whole time paradox thing is just that confusing (which is also why I hate it), she has to 'go back', because only then does this current future which she exists in happen.

And I'm also very concerned with BingZhu now having to face his sister in his lover's body, it's incredibly weird tbh, but I guess they never really got to the 'lovers' stage?

I feel like it started a lot more interestingly than how it ended, the comedy was actually great, but the plot was just terrible imo. BingZhu had more character development than anyone in the series, and that all went down the drain in the last 10 episodes. Everything just seemed incredibly underdeveloped, it was a huge waste of potential, especially with my lovely HMH being the ML for this ..

I cannot believe no one told me this was a freaking BE I was so unprepared for it .. it was not even an open-ending, they clearly would never end up together again and FL could only relive all their past memories

Riiiiight so BingZhu has entirely lost the plot I guess .. truly though i feel like this man was living in his own realm of hell while everyone else was in lala land

Soo XiaoYao goes back and becomes NingAn, does that mean all the time HongYe spent with NingAn was actually XiaoYao? So where did the original NingAn go? Is she dead?

It's kinda like a time loop I guess? XiaoYao (Dragon Lord) and NingAn were only that nice to ML because of her life as human XiaoYao

Why do I feel like every single demon acts like a teenager or a kid? It seems like none of them is actually mature, except for Hong Ye, and yes even HeiWu acts like a brainless kid

I'm slightly confused, just finished ep18, so did Dreamshard really just dissipate herself just like that??? And if the Heart Burning incantation thing was meant to take your own life, how did HongYe survive

Soo I don't know much about the game, but I've watched enough clips of it to know the premise. I wanna know what people think, is it a good movie to watch? What type of horror is it? Cuz I cannot for the life of me do jump scares, but I'm good with gore

I do think the way it's written and structured is very suggestive of AI, but seeing that they're taking the time to defend this, I want to give them the benefit of a doubt that they also took the time to write the review 🤣

I read this in full and was genuinely worried as you were, that this was written with AI, but since op says it isn't, I'm glad that AI didn't ruin this sacred space

Oh dear, poor Dreamshared Immortal, I was still thinking good thing her lover only fell ill and didn't abandon her, and then bam he did worse ..

Also I wished they did better in showing the Flower Demon's jealousy towards FL, because we never even got the slightest hint of that even though there must've been many ways to hint at it. The only 'hint' we got was when she kept the Immortal's portrait, but that was barely anything

Oh it's sooo interesting that YunYi's mirror fragment is Lasting Resentment, you really couldn't have guessed

Aww that's such a pity, I remember seeing her before in Go Ahead, and it's still one of my favourite non-xianxia cdramas

Whaaat I'll admit, it took me some time to warm up to her, but I'm up to ep8 rn and she's so adorably carefree and expressive, I love it

It suits her style though, I actually think it's pretty unique and shows off her character really well

Tan'er may be a saber, but I love this gal, and BingZhu too he's such a well-written character, I'm glad they didn't force him into a typical SML role
