That is generally a problem for MCs in jbl, but I actually think Mayama really stood out with how he may be a loner and 'weak', but he's actually not weak at all. He was simple insecure because of some past trauma, and as his relationship with Asamiya progresses, we actually see him growing into a bolder and happier person. That development was so key for me

Agreed, they're both cute, but this was definitely better in terms of the depth of relationship

Things I reaaaaally liked from the top of my head:
1. MC is shy, but not annoyingly timid, and he's so so kind
2. ML is head-over-heels and lowkey obsessed with MC
3. They're actually very unashamedly sweet and cute to each other after they get together
4. MC has absolute trust in ML's character
5. No dead fish kisses
6. ML respects MC's boundaries
