Main couple is adorable, I love the side couple too. Their acting was really good, especially JinYun as ShaoPeng, he really got the emotions through even while signing, and I found that really impressive. It was all really sweet, not much angst at all.

ShaoPeng's mum is an absolute queen, so is his lady friend. I feel so bad for what happened to her, and how she treated ShaoPeng at that moment will unfortunately be a guilty moment she carries for life. Also, I'm kinda rooting for the GL here, I want both these amazing ladies to be happy and find love

The first episode may have started have kinda wonky and bad, but it goes uphill really quickly and I started really loving them, especially seeing their smiles just make me giggle

Kiseki: Dear to Me, the second couple is just phenomenal i loved them with all my heart, and one of them is Nat Chen (the cousin in this series), other than that, there's the iconic HIStory series

Was there a reason this was censored? I mean it's not like Japan doesn't have a whole range of BL series with way more steamy scenes, why did they censor this one?

Nothing absolutely groundbreaking, but I love their story a lot. I just wish we had more fluffy time with them as a couple

The three types of love perfectly displayed - a manipulative obsessive type, a possessive type, and a pure self-sacrificing type. Also JaeMin is just downright evil

The symbolism in this series is done beautifully, the way all 3 men gave him rings showed how different they are. SuHyeon's ring was black and had a thick band with heavy designs, reflecting his own personality; JaeMin's ring didn't even fit DaOn, reflecting how he seriously never understood DaOn one bit; and at the end, Seong Hyeon's ring, an elegant silver plain ring, perfectly fitting to DaOn's personality and a symbol of their pure and simple relationship

Agreed I absolutely loved JHW and in this movie too. It's just a pity her being my favourite character in the movie says a lot, because KDJ and YJH were by far my favourites when I read the novel.

I see you everywhere saying people don't understand what an adaptation is and only complain about 'shallow things'. But do you even know why people complain that she's using a gun? Do you even understand the importance of their original weapons?

The movie did not capture the essence of the original material. And no, it is not simply the 'shallow things' that they failed to take into consideration, but everything ranging from character design to the characters' own personalities. KDJ has been turned from an omniscient and manipulative character who LIVED for TWSA, into one who always seems confused and panicked and DISLIKES TWSA, he has lost his very essence. YJH has been turned from a central character who seems cold but isn't evil, to one who demands KDJ to sacrifice a child to test him, and is sidelined throughout the film.

No, and I repeat again, no, the movie did not capture the essence of the original material. And it is not just about 'shallow complaints'.

Yeah putting aside how they butchered her character settings, I couldn't find any particular faults with Jisoo's acting, especially since she only had that much screentime anyway.

Adapted the essence well? What essence are you talking about here, because apart from adapting its essence as a fantasy/action genre, it literally could not keep the essence of the story at all. They changed the characters so much they have become unrecognisable from their original source. This is not adapting, this is a complete change.

As someone who has read the novel years ago and basically forgot the plot, I decided to watch the movie before rereading the novel. I can confirm, the movie isn't terrible, but it really isn't amazing either.

Even if I had forgotten most of the plot, I know for a fact that I loved KDJ and YJH was a central character. In the movie, I just didn't really like KDJ at all, and YJH was completely sidelined. I'm sure if I reread the novel, there would be so many other things to critique about the movie.

Yes, if you watch the movie as a standalone, it'll be ok. But the whole point of this movie was to make an adaptation of the ORV novel. It's ridiculous that it has failed so miserably at doing this.

Huh the ending kinda confused me? So FL used the machine to turn back time, but I thought using it requires a sacrifice from the user? And in turning back time and fixing all the wrongs, why would the future have remained unchanged? Like I understand Xi E had said changing the past might not change the present, but why would it not? Also was BJS revived because he shares the same source as HRY and Xi E did something so that her source power would give him back life?

This story is just totally heartbreaking, a classic case of miscommunication .. If ML had expressed his feelings more for FL, perhaps she would've trusted him more to have saved their child. If FL had just told ML her reasons for her actions, ML would've moved heaven and earth to help her see through that plan ..

It was ultimately none of their faults, yet also both of their faults. FL promised to go through the tribulation with ML yet failed to keep her promise because of her love for humankind, and ML failed to stay by FL's side because of his rule-abiding nature. This is some top-tier level writing

Also someone give the best acting award to this couple cuz damn they played me like a damn fiddle way too many times
