I've always loved this queen, just came to check her profile and she's basically been consistently getting 8+ ratings in her series. Simply amazing 🥰
I've heard about this drama from every corner, so I decided to watch it! The beginning is kind of messy, nothing…
Hahaha I haven't watched this so no comment, but just from looking at other people's comments, it seems she's the very unbothered and chill type? I guess it would make sense that she seemed to fit right in and didn't try to apply any modern knowledges?
The ratings look really good?? How the heck is this so underrated cuz i haven't seen this around at all until I stumbled upon a clip on youtube and had to check it out cuz it has Arthur CHen
It's a pretty common trope - childhood best friends, one's a naive slightly idiotic sun, the other's an over-protective slightly broody type who loves the sun.
It seems alright so far, it's just interesting how their relationship took no time at all to develop haha, got a confession in episode 2. The fake dating part really only last like 1 episode, i really thought it was going to be a more central part of the plot given how it was described in the summary, but i like it this way. And I totally love the two girl besties tho they're such a mood, kinda ship them hehe
I did think a rating of 8.5 was pretty high for what i thought was (and is) a low-production series. But then…
Yesss if they had more time to learn/grow, they could've done exceptionally. It was very obvious the development of their acting improved so so much throughout
I've always seen Joseph in bromance/action series, which I absolutely love, they're always top tier - like Ultimate Note, MLC. Then I recently just came across him being in a romance drama with BaiLu and was absolutely thrown off, came to see his profile and realised, just wow, I never knew his acting was so so diverse!! It's so rare seeing an actor being involved in so many different genres. Now I'm excited to watch Feud and get to know a new side of him
You’re asking two very good questions. :) I think the thread either fell out when Crown Prince Shu Qian threw…
Yeah it was a bit paradoxical. I could only think it was possibly a spur of the moment slip in his goal of wanting ShuHe to suffer. Afterall, he wants his brother to be happy, but he probably dislikes ShuHe for bringing his brother so much pain

The missing string will forever baffle me haha, and the pond was so shallow that I could see the box even before the crown prince found it 🤣
I do think the theory of HuaiYi betraying ZiAng's order makes the most sense. It was hinted at their exchange when ZiAng asked HuaiYi about freeing the prisoners, the bg music and HuaiYi's reactions were suspicious. And ZiAng would've wanted ShuHe to be happy so he would never have ordered them to be killed.
I'm inclined to think HuaiYi killed them to appease the ministers in court who probably were already very disgruntled about ZiAng's actions. And he probably also saw it as an opportunity to get back at the one person who has been the source of his brother's pain all these years
I mean I've gotten up to ep8 and it doesn't seem like a lot has happened yet? For a 32ep series, I would think more stuff would've happened by now ..

And if this is from China, how did they get past censorship? Did they broadcast in another country like Kill to Love did?
