So i'm a bit curious, but are ChengYu and ChiCheng platonic? Like I think they are, but the way the series made it so ambiguous is making me question myself, or was it a one-sided crush from ChiCheng??

The ending wasn't as sad as I thought? I was fully prepared for everyone to die (including ML since some people's reviews/comments made it seem like so), but it was quite obvious the main couple survived, both of them, and had 2 kids after the war

holy motherf ep35 onwards should be banned forever, no one needs to experience this pain TT - also ShiSan is seriously such an underrated character, acts the most flamboyant and care-free, but is the one who actually understands people the most and empathises (also knew he was gonna go blind from the opening but seeing it still broke me)
