Wait i don't get the whole Yulou Furen's special forehead flower pattern, i thought it's always been said that she was born with that pattern, hence having an empress' fate or sth, but she literally wipes it off and repaints it herself later on??
it gets better! i totally agree angst isnt for everyone, but if it helps their relationships gets cuter and fluffier…
For realll cuz i got to ep9, it may not be as angsty and full of hate, but there definitely is still a hell lot of deception going around .. I'm not sure if this familial feud will ever be resolved, especially since both FL and ML have differing loyalties, i really struggle to see how they can build a relationship of mutual trust and love
There's too much angst and hate for me TT, i've been so excited to watch this with the great reviews, but I usually lean more towards the fluffy kind of relationship, even if it's not fluffy there's not usually so much hate and grudge between them .. someone tell me is it gonna get better TT
I dropped it at episode 24 and now I finally got to pick it up again after 2months. Im almost the end, can someone…
I feel like him being a prince wasn't important at all, so I guess it didn't matter if no one knew - I believe the Hua Family only knew he was someone with a rich/important background
I do lovee the story, but the ending just didn't really do it for me .. Throughout the entire series I was just looking foward to FL and her family getting enough money to save her family, but it eventually they only saved their family because the emperor died .. Like I'm glad he died, but it was quite sudden, and I feel like all the build-up of their efforts are just wasted
The thing about FL .. like I love her bravery and genius, she's always willing to help others and supported her entire family. But dangggg girl I swear, I know you're righteous and have an extremely strong moral compass, but STOP PROVOKING THE EMPEROR OMG
Ep 21, GOD she was saying "Concubine Qin is too kind hearted to do that, she could have stolen my thing but she…
Idk if we watched the same thing, but it was quite obvious they portrayed the lady Qin to have paused in the middle of the room cuz she felt guilty, as FL said, in that time she hesitated, she could've easily left the room without getting caught. It's not black and white, the whole point of this series is that some people may do bad things and get caught, but they may be redeemable, but some make look like good people on the outside yet do outrageous things behind closed doors. Literally there are no perfectly good or bad people in this series .. They make it look like 'they are good people' because those close to FL are those she trusts and has built a relationship with, lady Qin is a 'good' person because she knew how to feel guilty and apologise and redeem herself.
Loved the story and loved aunt xiaβs character later on . But the male leadβs hairstyle and thick eyebrows…
I was never that impressed with HYT's acting, ur right in saying he is a little stiff in acting, but i actually think he did quite well in this series considering his character setting
gosh ep33 broke meeee, but i love that this wasn't some stupidly random reason for them to break up, she tried to reason with him and tell him he had a choice, when he made his choice to side with the emperor, she had no other choice but to break up so that she won't become a hostage for the emperor and dragging other families down too
It might be fast-paced for this kind of plot. I loved it a lot but ofc we might have different tastes. Both leads…
I just finished ep20 and honestly they might be one of the best couples ever existed in cdrama - no misunderstanding drama, both are extremely level-headed and smart, both communicate a whole lot, wow i love them
Yes, because some people believe there's a causal link between the zero degree empathy gene and criminal behaviour…
I've finished watching it but wanted to clarify, so there are 3 groups essentially - the 'good guys' aka the SID, the 'cleaner' led by HuoXiao's professor who hates Zero Empathies, and the 'organisation' who are killers led by Zhang? I'll be honest I think I might've only really understood around 50% of what was going on TT, might just read the novel to clear things up a bit
Also I was just wondering if I was the only one who thought the whole HaoYue thing just wasn't really necessary
