I'm sorry but am I the one who thinks Yi Wen Jun was also at fault here? I know she was tricked into going back and the Tian Wai Tian people were manipulative bitches, but did she really just willingly abandon her loving husband and child, KNOWING she will be trapped in the palace again forever. Does she not know her husband will fight tooth and nail to get her back? Did she not think for a second the consequences of her actions on other people, not just herself?

The main plotline's just Baili Dongjun's adventure and his search for his love-at-first-sight aka YueYao lol. But yeah it's very slow, it honestly to me hinges a lot on Blood of Youth. Like if people didn't watch BoY already, this series would be quite mediocre

It's pretty repetitive imo, since the subsequent seasons aren't continuations at all but basically a copy and paste. It's still slightly different in the way the power dynamic of the class is different in every season - aka Shin as class leader in s1

Honestly would've loved some continuity between s1 and 2, even without the whole Shin issue, it would've been nice if she could at least continue teaching at Shirokin given the whole drama in the very last episode of s1 with everyone getting her to stay there .. and some more cameos of her old students would be fun too, glad that we got Kuma at least
