It's ok to promote the actor but at what cost? I am big fan of this genre dramas and after watching first 10 to 15 episodes, I got super excited. My expectations sky rocketed. From that point to now, where I am skipping several scenes in episodes, idk whether that's just me or everyone else. If their agenda was to promote the actor through this drama, that's upto the makers. But they have spoiled the essence of what could have been a great drama. And is he a great actor and worth investing on, I better not comment on that.

They are trying very hard to make the viewers pity his character but it isn't working. Instead they should have focussed more on FL and ML's trauma. For me their lives were much sadder when compared to Chu. FL with all the burden of living as a shadow with her family not caring for her and ML who lost everything after that battle.

It's ok sidelining ML as the title itself states that it's the story of FL but in the last 2 episodes, they even sidelined the FL. Why not name the drama "Legend of Chu Zhao" as the drama seems to be all about that character. Watched 100s of dramas but never ever came across a drama where a supporting lead had more screen time than the main leads. I mean there were supporting roles who covered max screen time for a few episodes but here it's completely diff. Chu Zhao character has the most screen time in this drama so far. Thank god Moonlit reunion got released otherwise I would have been frustrated to death.

Finally! Xu Kai's drama. Missed you a lot. Lately he's playing characters that are mature. Prev in ABAY and now this. In all his earlier dramas, he used to play characters that are carefree & lively. I am liking this side of him. He is so handsome here. Those eyes of his...❤️❤️❤️. FL is assuming him to be just a cute and honest guy. Idk how shocked she will be when she gets to know his identity. SML's little creepy. I hope our FL won't go along with his decision to turn into a full demon.

In today's episode FL behavior seemed out of character. She took a back step which wasn't the case in prev cases. The way she stayed silent when the CEO crossed boundaries, felt strange. I don't know what the makers intentions are regarding her character. Either she is acting too outgoing sometimes or staying completely aloof. I thought the theme of this show is cold ML meets a warm hearted FL. It started like that initially but with last few episodes, it's like the characters reversed. ML is showing empathy to their clients while FL started focussing about compensation.

Even I felt strange regarding why FL didn't react at all. Based on her personality we have seen so far she def isn't the one to let others have their way with her. Felt out of character. I understand she could have been surprised when it happened in the bar but she let him do the same again when her peers were watching.

Another full episode of Chu zhao being the male lead where our Xiao Jue is reduced to a guest role. I know the screen time of characters depends on the story but this is too much. What's with the flute and the poetry? Why are you even there? And got promoted to war director without knowing anything about war. Great character. Great writing. With only 12 episodes remaining and seeing how the writers are obsessed with Chu character, a lot of screen time is going to be allocated to him. Xiao Jue, better don't go running around. Just stay where you are. After He Yan understand Chu's trauma and provides him with the necessary enotional support, she will come back to you in the last 10 minutes of the drama. So, better don't follow her and get jealous.

It's ok to feel so if ML is not a good guy but even though everything's green between the leads, people ship them with others. Doesn't make sense at all 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️. It's all roses until it happens to them in real life. Assume some guy/girl trying to woo their spouse/partner. Let's see if they will have second lead syndrome then.

Yes, they should have listed him as a main lead instead. Only 1 hour of content per day and that character is taking almost half of the screen time.

Guys, plz tell me when this story will move past that Chu guy. That guy is always cooking something and is going to be a hindrance btw our leads. He is making these constant trips to Yezhuo under the guise of something imp but we know that he's just after our FL. I have had enough of this guy. Nothing against the actor tho. I hope this doesn't go in the usual direction where they showcase this SML as some poor guy with trauma and everything and make the viewers empathize with him by playing some sad ost while he makes his ultimate sacrifice for FL and then she cries over his death and we will have some abrupt ending. The extent the makers go these days just to satisfy a few people's SML syndrome fantasies is insane. Hope this one doesn't go in that direction.

He only thinks about those things if the other party is romantically intersted in FL. In master's scenario, that's not the case. So, he thought why bother? He is just a supporting character.

Was it necessary of her to give away that protective armor to Chu Zhao. I know she did that to protect him but the guy is now going to assume all kinds of things. This is the problem and diff between men and women. Women think it's casual but men take it too seriously. Poor Xiao Jue won't understand this and will probably act jealous again. Poor Men. Even the smartest of men will become dumb and lose all common sense around the women they admire. When will I be able to see a ML who's resistant to all these?

If there are any annoying smls that are about to come to spoil the chemistry that's going on between our leads, I will be frustrated to death. I don't care about the intentions of that SML and whether he is good or bad but if you try to come in between them, you are dead.

I though He Yan will be the one teasing Xiao Jue but it was complete opposite. ML made her blush but the poor guy got involved too much and got flustered himself.

Always love this trope but most of the dramas failed to get this right. Hopefully this one will be good. Looking great so far.

Suddenly it turned into an action series. That scene alone should make one understand why LJW was chosen as the ML. Intense. It felt like a man with a violent past suddenly lost his cool. Our ML definitely needs some emotional support. I wished for this drama to avoid any kind of romance but with the character of ML written like this he def needs romance.

Yes airing schedule is a bit weird. First time seeing something like this. Either air 1 ep/day or 2 eps/day. What is this 1.5ep/day kind of scheduling.
