He really thought that it's a secret between them too and it's just their own thing. Poor guy. When she said to him so casually that ML knowns, I can see the hurt on his face like how can you do that. I thought it was a secret between us two.

They have chemistry but it's more of like sworn siblings or bros for life kind of chemistry. The reason you are feeling that leads have no chemistry is because the show is made that way. The scenes, the music, the atmosphere and so many things needs to work for you to feel that. This show is not focusing on that aspect and that's the reason for you feeling so. If this was a straight up romantic drama, the setting will be entirely different.

The donghua has been so good that I never thought this story needed a live action adaptation. Maybe if this series becomes a hit, they will make sequels and try to cover up as much as they can.

Started off solid. "WE ARE JUST FLEETING MORTALS" ost at the end of eps 3 is a banger. Been following the donghua for quite some time and I am really glad that they came out with a live action adaptation. But idk how they will be able able to cover the entire thing in 30 eps. There is so much story to be told. Soo many arcs. One arc alone took 1st 3 episodes. It's going to get more exciting with each episode. Han Li is one of the most ruthless and cunning protagonists that most fear to face one on one. He along with Wang Lin from Renegade immortal have so many tricks up their sleeve. They take you out by surprise and you will never see them coming. This is going to be an exciting one.

It's going to take some time. Story has been ongoing for many years. Idk how they will cover up all that story in 30 eps.

I f**ing hate it when they play those sad tunes in the background to make us empathize with villians or bad people. Who even make these music choices lol? It serves no purpose. No one feels any pity even though you play such music. Such a waste of good scores. Not just here. Happens in almost every drama. Breaks the flow. Damn it.

To all the people who are thinking about whether to start this or not, I recommend you to go for it. This is very soothing with no over the top drama. If you need the thrills, the drama, the gazes, the chaos, the cringe and the accidental kisses then this is not for you.

This is so good. I was afraid at the start whether this would showcase too much of the law side of things instead of their personal lives but I am glad that the show is focusing on their day to day struggles. In the end, the lawyers are humans too, and the cases they are taking are going to take a toll on them.

As if Liu chang wasn't enough, now ghis stupid kid is acting all obsessive. Mu dan should have just given him some money and sent him off instead of keeping him at her side. Hope this kid won't turn into another Liu Chang.

The ost "Please take me away" at the end os ep 19 has struck me so deeply. It tells a thousand words and feelings that Bei Yu felt in her last moments. Bei Yu RIP. I have seen so many tragic characters on screen none touches my heart as you did. To all the people who are suffering silently, may you find courage and the light that guides you out of the darkness.

I liked the ending. All of them having a good time offline instead of immersing themselves into drama world like me.

Everytime LXY gives that grin, he looks psychotic. It's as if he is about to do something horrible. He is so perfect for this role. He is the best suited actor going around for these kind of roles.

Now I feel even more sad for Qing Bei Yu. If the family is behaving like this now then how awful they must have been with her. She literally had no one to lean on. Atleast Qing Yu has got Ming Sheng. But poor Bei Yu had none. I am still unable to get over Bei Yu's story. I wish she was here right now so that she could protect her little sister. No family's daughters should go through something like this. If the lives of daughters in 2006 are this horrible then what about in the 1900's. It's great that we are living in this era.

Usually brothers always side with their sisters no matter what. I don't understand why he is acting like that. I Wish Qing Yu has an elder brother instead of a younger one.

There are so many people defending the mother in the comments that I am not even able to say anything against her. No amount of trauma should give her the excuse to behave in such a way against her daughter. I would have left the house as well if my family is like that. That's not the way you raise your children. The more you behave like this, the more rebellious they become. You need to sit with them, try to understand them and build a normal conversation because there are lots of thoughts running in a teenager's mind. Their brain never stops thinking. They assume the worst or the best about people.

I hope Ming Sheng stops hating his dad. Looks like his dad really gives it all for his job. Doctors are like that. They work around the clock. How come the mom who left him gets all the love but the dad who took care of him all these years gets the hate? I know MS was really young at that time but he is older now and needs to understand hid dad. The dad has always been patient with MS no matter how much the kid hated him. But I hope the Dad starts focusing on his relationship with the nurse. He should consider it seriously. He should stop worrying what MS thinks about it and should go for it. That nurse seems like a very good person and he needs to respect her. You already wasted so much time worrying about what the kid might think. It's your life man. You started something with her, so you should be responsible for it.

Qing Yu, more power to you. Thank you for trying to bring justice for what happened to your sister. You understood that Bei Yu had always looked out for you. No matter how horrible her life was Bei Yu always kept things to herself. She had no one to rely on and she kept herself away from her little sister to protect her. From the last few episodes, everytime I am seeing Bei Yu on screen I am feeling uncontrollably sad for her. All her dreams shattered. She was always searching for that one person she could lean onto but unfortunately she found none. Everyone used her. She died with an emptiness in her heart 😢. Qing Yu, you go girl. No one should be spared. Everyone who made her miserable, should be brought to justice. How everyone's behaving normal after driving a poor girl to her death and celebrating? Completely bring the entire thing down. Screw the reputation. Screw those hypocrites. Qing you. 💪💪💪

BJS playing with the elder's beard is the cutest thing in this drama. The way he was lying on her lap hugging her legs while she was reading is....❤️❤️❤️. I wasn't prepared for this.
