Lol reminds me of JingYi's Legend of Hua Zhi π€£ and others also like Legend of Female General Shen Li, Fuyao,…
Thank you so much. Soo many of them. Usually plots comes to our mind once we come across the titles that we have watched already but I sure as hell can't say the same with legends lol.
I am glad that it has only 11 episodes instead of usually 16. Dramas lose their essence midway to cover 16 long episodes. Binge watched all episodes. This is the reason I love Netfix. They drop all episodes at once. OST is superb. Nothing cringe and they kept it very serious from start to end. Sad ending but that's a realistic one. That redemption arc was unnecessary for Mu Jin. I hate it when they do that. Once he stabbed In hoe, all that redemption is lost. He turned complete evil towards the end but as usual the writers made a big deal out of his death to satisfy the fantasies of Asian dramas SMLs fans union.
Underrated. Better than a lot of full length c dramas out there. I don't understand why this isn't popular and why only few people are watching this. I know that it uses the same old template but it's very well made.
What the pervert? ππ. I love how they are relating gym sessions with real life problems. Initially I thought ML's just a goofy guy talking about gym language all the time but he is very kind. He is too soft hearted. It's time FL lets go off her ex. 6 episodes in and she is still obsessed with the guy.
Weak. Disappointed. Where's the magic? Season 1 felt very serious. Same level of intensity is missing here. I didn't feel any sense of danger for the characters in this season which wasn't the case in the previos one. I was too scared for the characters there. Maybe I am too biased towards the first season idk.
What a ride? A fitting end to a beautiful drama. Started this one with no expectations but it surprised me. Great characters and great acting. It's been quite some time since a historical had such a great ending. Hate it when we are usually left with an open ending after we invest so much time but this drama did justice to all it's characters. Villians met their end and the heroes got rewarded for their good deeds.
This is actually pretty good. I love that it has these small small arcs and in each arc there is this one sadistic villian that leads needs to take down. I initially got worried about how they will keep it interesting for 40 episodes but I am surprised by the solid screenplay. It's not easy to make a drama with so many characters and to write those characters with such depth is amazing.
FL confessing her feelings to ML felt abrupt. I don't know I hoped for it to be more meaningful. It's like FL confessed just to save the poor guy. Maybe I was expecting too much and I got it all wrong. Idk how to feel about this drama. After EP 7 my expections were so high but nothing happened after that. What's with SML being a Witch? Good concept that got spoiled by poor writing especially towards the end.
The number of times our Yi Fan had happy tears in this drama = infinity. I can't think of any other drama that comes close to this record. This record alone makes Sang Yan one of the greatest ML's of all time.
I am glad I gave this drama time. Initially thought of dropping this after few episodes but EP 7 was daebak. Kept me on my toes. My heart was racing like anything for the entire episode. If it maintains the same pace for the last 3 episodes then it's a solid 8.5 for me.
