I'm a little bothered by the ML's mother's diagnosis. It went from, "She can't remember she retired. She can't remember where she is." to "Oh, it's nothing. Just a little stress." What stress? She hadn't worked in months! This plot line should be a bigger deal.

FL is 1300 years old. She runs a hotel for ghosts before they move on to the afterlife.
Her first love died 1300 years ago. You see him in flashbacks. He is not the ML.
ML is her employee. She needs a human to be the hotel manager, and to handle business transactions in the real world. FL and ML are NOT lovers. They are boss and employee who become good friends.
So you see, there is no love triangle. Like I said, this plot is very unique. And all the story lines are tied up nicely. The beauty of this story is watching all the different plots play out over time.

Sitting around the table, little girl puts food in little boy's bowl.
Building the first cat house in high school. She's eating junk and he says she'll get diabetes.
In the field of sunflowers, she wants to drink banana milk with him.
Sitting next to the newest cat house. She invites him over to her house for food.
In her bedroom, she says she likes junk food when she's really asking to get laid.
She's definitely a foodie!
