Man, ji sang u is so so so suspicious, like in the preview for ep 9, you can see he drove past sa eon( I think…
I suspect Sang U sent the flowers and lured ML to the abandoned house. I think Sang U thinks ML is the real Sa Eon, and Sang U thinks Sa Eon is responsible for the missing kids.
Episode 8. I'm sorry, but that "Kimchi in a can" scene had me snort laughing. That was some awful product placement. "Why are you such a good cook?" "When the kimchi is good, you can't mess up the recipe." It's a sign of a good actor, that he wasn't rolling his eyes when he said that.
Nice drama, but I felt bad for Eo Heung, he was good guy, he deserved good ending.
I'd like to believe that Eo Heung matured and grew by being off on his own for a while. And that after ML dies, that FL reconnects with Eo Heung and that they get married. Eo Heung will be a better husband for FL after his time on his own, and his mother will be a better mother-in-law since she's come around to liking FL.
ok yall pls clarify this one thing for me , so who truly was haejo's father? that dude they met who stole all…
We don't know. Haejo never contacted the last 2 sperm donors on the list. He just decided to meet the father who raised him and then abandoned him, and reconnect. Then Haejo just dropped the search for his sperm donor father and spent his remaining days having as much fun as he could with Jaemi. Both Haejo and us never find out who his real father is
I hope FL hooks back up with her fiance after ML dies. He was kind. He's growing and maturing by being on his own for a while. And scary mom has come around liking FL. Plus, when fiance was wandering around Seoul in a black turtleneck and trench coat, with a few days of beard stubble, he looked really hot.
She's in the hospital, supposedly hooked up to an IV, and she wanders up to the roof? And then she just walks…
Except he did not meet her in the amusement park. She wandered around alone. I think that would be rather traumatic for me, at least. But I get your point.
She's in the hospital, supposedly hooked up to an IV, and she wanders up to the roof? And then she just walks out of the hospital because he sends her on a scavenger hunt to find him in an empty amusement park, when the kidnapper just texted that he's coming for the phone? And that's supposed to calm her down? That would creep me out so bad.
OK, the kiss made up for it.
But I'm still confused that she didn't know that he knew she was 406. He told her like 5 times to her face.
OK, the kiss made up for it.
At least it was a real freaking kiss and not just pressing lips together while meditating.
Year 2024 started with 'Captivating the King' and ended with 'When the Phone Rings'.I would say it was a good…
I gotta throw Mr. Plankton in there, too. I'm watching it while waiting for When the Phone Rings to drop another episode. Mr. Plankton is blowing me away. Very different.
What a refreshingly different K-drama! No animated title sequence. No lens flare still photos at the end. No squeaky noises when someone blinks. I like that I already know how it ends from scene 1, so I'm prepared for the actual ending. I like the dark humor. I almost feel guilty laughing at certain parts. And so many actors that are "That guy from that thing," or "That lady from that other thing I watched."
This show is quite different from what I thought it would be, and I like it.
If they have the main leads suddenly have to be apart for 1 year, I'm dropping my review score to a 1.
1. The hair dryer isn't actually running, because they're talking and can hear each other.
2. The hair dryer isn't actually running, because the ML is just shaking the hair dryer at the back of the FL's head, and no hair is blowing around.
3. He's not using a hair brush to straighten her hair while following the brush down the length of her hair with the hair dryer.
4. It's NOT FREAKING PLUGGED IN! I can't remember which show it was, but I could see the plug laying on the ground.
OK, the kiss made up for it.
