I-na's face isn't shown because she's 5 years older. They'd have to use a different actress. In fact, they did use a different actress. They did't show her face because she didn't look anything like the I-na actress we've all come to love.

He could probably bring a dead body from the past to the future, but he couldn't resurrect the person to living again.

When ML goes back the last time, everything is in color. Even his wife acknowledges that ML is there. And his boss also acknowledges ML is there. That's when ML knows he can touch things like the oxygen tank and the ax and actually save the FL.

ML cannot change the past. He can only go back and do what he already did.

The ML didn't go back to the theater fire after saving FL in the past. The son yanked the ML to the future right before the school building exploded. The ML never went back to the theater, so he was never in the rubble of the theater fire.

So for the ML, he went from the theater fire directly to I-Na's birth. Then he ran to the school and saved the FL. Then he immediately was went to his son's bedroom because his son pulled him there. For the ML, maybe 10 to 15 minutes had gone by. For the rest of his family, it took them 5 years to catch up to where the ML was, because he was pulled 5 years into the future from when the theater fire was.

ML can't control when he comes back. He comes back to the exact spot he was in before, after the same amount of time he was away. So if he came back, it would only be about 15 minutes after he left, and he'd be crushed under rubble and burned to death, because it probably took many hours to put out that theater fire.

His son's power is to retrieve things from the past. The son cannot time travel to the past. The son doesn't have the same superpower that his dad has.. The son never left his bedroom. The son yanked ML to the future at the exact moment the school blew up, because that's where the ML was 18 years prior, which is when FL told their son to look for his dad.

Everything made perfect sense and closed the time loop. ML was missing for 5 years because he'd already been transported to 5 years in the future. It took 5 years for the rest of the family to catch up to where ML was.

I-na's boyfriend wouldn't know anything about I-na's father. I think it was just a case of, "That's your dad? Hum. He looks different than I expected."

Also, I agree with ramisa. The guy that I-na said she was working hard to impress wasn't a different boy, but her dad.

But saving FL and getting saved by his son, and yanked out of the explosion into the future and to his happy family IS a Happy memory for him.

It was more than ML thanking his wife. SHE COULD SEE HIM! And she acknowledged that he was there. I thought that was a nice touch.

The fire was still burning. He would have been crushed under the rubble and burned alive.

I like that his son from 5 years in the future yanked him into the future and safely home. It's just a shame it took FL 5 years to find out the kid's superpower.
