Aw was excited for a new ep today. But I guess I have to wait another week 🥲
20 minutes a week seems too short! And then I remembered that that's how we USED to watch TV before streaming was invented. A "half hour" show had 10 minutes of commercials, so the show was only 20 minutes long, and only on once a week. Sigh.
1. We all knew Mia was going walk in on the two boys in bed and freak out.
2. I really liked Mia's Mom calling her out on all her entitled bullshit.
3. I liked the scene where Mia thought the boys were both into her, and her surprise that they were into each other. I kept calling the pottery bear "Paddington."
4. I like that they all decided to give the 3-some a go. But I don't understand why they needed to go to a love motel when they're already living together. I guess so they can get a bigger bed, a kinky atmosphere, and not have to wash the sheets after?
5. The co-irker who claimed to be ace hooking up with some guy she never wants to see again at the love motel, and then going full super hero on Shinpei.
no one is talking about this but Young Ae and her father being husband and mistress in one life and father daughter…
Oh, I mentioned it. It grossed me out. Not only were they lovers in a previous life, but Yeong Ae is stuck with her abuser, life after life. That's not fair.
Prediction for episodes 11 & 12.I hope I'm WRONG, but . . .
Having watched other shows by the same writers, and given how weird the rules of Heaven (TM) are, I bet one of the characters wakes up on Earth and says, "I just had the weirdest dream."
I really hope that's NOT what happens, but these writers seem to love a last minute twist, don't they?
Leaving my brain at the coat check, episode 10: WTF part 2.
1. Now the writer is just F-ing with us.
2. Writer forgot about the flower rings. Writer forgot that Som-i always sees rain clouds. Writer forgot that Sonya the cat still exists.
2. Som-i is an unreliable narrator. She thought she was Yeoung-Ae, and was actually very convincing. Now she thinks she is ML's lover. She only just died a few weeks ago and looked like she was in her 20's when she was on the Heaven/Hell train, so that's the age she was when she died, before she could pick an age to be in Heaven. He died a few years ago at age 85. They were never the same age at the same time, so they couldn't be lovers.
3. Som-i is an unreliable narrator. Everything we see from her point of view has ML being evil. Remember that Som-i was supposed to go to Hell (TM). She's the one who's done something bad. I wonder if she's the one who did a bad adoption of ML's stolen kid. Then again, why was she in her 20's on the train when the ML was 85 when he died? The writer keeps breaking the rules they've set up, and it's pissing me off.
4. ML is in Heaven (TM). They wouldn't have let him into Heaven (TM) if he'd done all the bad things Som-i dreamed. Plus, when we see him searching for his son, he's asking people who the kid was sold to. He's not saying he stole the kid. The kid was stolen from him.
5. Either Som-i or FL is Pastor's mother. At this point, the writer is F-ing with us to confuse us. Especially since the President said she was NOT lying. So was HE lying or is he telling the real truth?
6. I'm glad the doggies are doing well in Hell (TM).
7. That lottery show was a cringe fest. But FL always wants to do right by her fostered kids, be they Yeong Ae or the Pastor.
Considering this plotline they're onto (past lives reincarnations and rebirth concepts), this might be plausible…
Som-i was young on the train to Hell/Heaven (TM) so that's what she looked like when she died. She hadn't picked an age to be yet. Nakjun was 85 years old when he died, and had already been in Heaven(TM) for a few years, so I doubt they were ever a couple.
Leaving my brain at the coatcheck, episode 9: WTF?
1. WTF was the writer thinking?
2. NOOOOO, don't send my stray doggies to Hell (TM) to freaking WORK. I was going to say work for a living, but I guess it's work for a death?
3. What was all the prayer and reincarnation nonsense? None of this makes any sense. I hate the idea that you're stuck with your tormentor for many lives. And I hate the idea that you're not punished in your life, but in your afterlife or in next life when you're totally innocent of anything. People need to be punished in the life where they did bad things.
4. So Yeong-Ae and her FATHER were LOVERS that gave birth to FL. EWWWWW GROSSSSSS!
5. BWA-HAHAHAHHHA! Shark guy is immediately killed by the white truck of doom. BINGO!
6. Som-I has to be the Pastor's mother or what's the point of having her in this story, right?
7. There's no way FL abandoned Pastor as a child. He'd recognize her, right? And she'd recognize him. But Pastor hasn't met Som-i yet. Well he has, but he didn't see her face. She had that hoodie thing on.
8. What was that flashback with Shark guy in the forrest with a bunch of searchers that ML saw?
9. We all knew Yeong-Ae was in a coma when she stepped on the scales in Hell (TM) and weighed nothing. I was wondering when the President was going to send her back to Earth.
10. Yeong-Ae started acting very grown up after she found out she laid her father and gave birth to her foster mother. I'm not happy about writing that sentence.
11. At least we only have to wait a day to find out what happens next. AND THEN they'll hit us with the mother of all cliffhangers.
12. Where the heck is Sonya the cat?
13. Why does ML's bedroom door open inward, and FL's bedroom door open outward? The doors are right next to each other.
He's been really into Takuzo from the beginning. And now with more kissing and hugging, and despite what Takuzo says, I think he's into it and just doesn't want to admit it yet.
Now I'm waiting for Mia to catch them in the act. Here she thinks she's getting two men to herself. She's going to be surprised when she discovers her husbands are the ones getting two sex partners.
I'm going to predict that this throuple doesn't last. I think the relationships will give Takuzo more confidence to date on his own, and Shinpei and Mia will go off and get married just the two of them.

6. The dead bunny is still my favorite character.
BUT, why would the firefighter and the little girl be there together if Heaven (TM) was really hell?
I really hope that's NOT what happens, but these writers seem to love a last minute twist, don't they?
