Jung Hae In added more muscle for Snowdrop, and he looked tough and stronger. Perhaps he will be working out again…
Thanks! The promo photo up there does not make him look like a boxer, though. Going off that promo photo, I would have guessed ballet dancer.

I cannot picture Jung Hae In as a boxer or a gangster unless the makeup artist gives him a cauliflower ear, a broken nose, and a split lip, and he bulks up a bit more. He's just too pretty to be a boxer. And maybe tone down the pink lipstick.

I could imagine Son Suk Ku as a boxer and gangster (and not just because he played on in My Liberation Notes). He has the physique for it. But Jung Hae In look like a tall thin model.

Title Heavenly Ever After Spoiler
1. The pastor riding the "bike." I still find it a bit weird that he's 5 year's old. Sometimes he acts 5 years…
Yeah, that bothered me, too. Why would a 5 year old decide to be 25 to 30 years old? To a 5 year old, a 10 year old is OLD. If he's waiting for him mother to return, he'd want to be 5 years old in Heaven (TM).

Title Heavenly Ever After Spoiler
Leaving my brain at the coat check, episode 8.
1. The pastor riding the "bike." I still find it a bit weird that he's 5 year's old. Sometimes he acts 5 years old, but most of the time he acts like an adult. The writer is not very consistent with Heaven (TM)'s rules. What happened to the little girl and the firefighter? Did she decide to be 20 and live with the firefighter? That's weird, right?

2. I like FL's mother in law. She didn't seem like the MIL from hell to me. She was replacing the pots and pans with lighter weight ones that wouldn't be so hard for FL to lift.

3. Having ML have to touch Som-i so she could touch things was weird. Nobody can see her, so stuff she touched would just appear to float in the air, right? The baby rattle and the flower rings.

4. Since both Som-i and ML recognize and don't like Shark guy, I suspect two things. He's responsibly for ML's accident. And Som-i is somehow a young version of FL.

5. If Som-i is somehow a young version of FL, maybe that's why ML saved her? Som-i never changes her clothing, but everyone else does. Even FL complained that she had to do ML's laundry.

6. Did the writer forget that Som-i sees storm clouds in Heaven (TM) and wants to always carry an umbrella?

7. Did the writer forget that cats exist? That Sonya exists? I love the dogs, but come on, where are the cats?

8. I keep flip flopping on whether Som-i is another version of FL, or if Som-i is the Pastor's mother.

9. I don't like Som-i falling for ML. But if Som-i's really a younger version of FL, maybe that's why Som-i is falling for ML?

10. I hate the idea of reincarnation. I would not want to come back to earth ever again. If you like the idea, that's fine. I just don't want to come back.

11. At this point, I'm just here for the stray dogs, the Pastor, and ML and his 5 o'clock shadow.

12. OOOOH, and what was the deal with the ML putting a collar on that abandoned dog and vanishing it to Heaven (TM) just because the owner died and wanted the dog with him in Heaven (TM). That's not the way death worked for any of the other dogs.

1. The doggo getting reincarnated with a poor, homeless person because he'll get more love than if he's reincarnated…
Oh yes. #4. You're right. They didn't give Yeong Ae the hell berries.

I like your theory on #6, too.

What bother me a lot is that Heaven doesn’t follow its own rules. Said that, I am watching out of curiosity…
Same here. It bugs me that Heaven (TM) doesn't follow its own rules. I blame the writer. They're making up a fantasy. How hard is it to be consistent with the stuff you're making up?

The priest died when he was 5 years old, so Som-i and the priest were not lovers.

Title Heavenly Ever After Spoiler
Checking my brain at the coat check, episode 7.
1. The doggo getting reincarnated with a poor, homeless person because he'll get more love than if he's reincarnated with a rich family.

2. If Som-I keeps riding the subway with ML every day, why isn't she sucked back into Hell (TM) each time the train stops there? I guess ML is saving her every single time?

3. Yeong-Ae didn't weigh anything on the scale in Hell (TM) and she's not in the directory of Heaven (TM). I think she's in a coma on Earth and still alive. I think she'll be sent back to the living by the end of the show.

4. What is the deal with the writer? The rules don't apply evenly. Only ML can touch stuff in the real world because he has the special Watch (TM). Som-I can NOT touch people or flowers or anything. But the dog can jump up on people. And Som-I can strangle a man. What was the point of showing that Som-I couldn't interact with anything, only to show the she can?

5. I'm really getting tired of that UGLY ass outfit Som-I is wearing. There have been a few times that I thought maybe Som-I might be FL's subconscious or something like that, but FL would NEVER wear that ugly outfit.

6. How is it that the priest is so mature and knows scripture if he was 5 years old when he died?

7. I love the FL's and Priest's "mother/son" relationship.

8. Theory. Could Som-i have been raped by man she's strangling and Priest is her son? And she's going to Hell (TM) for abandoning Priest?

9. The doggo with the cone.!!! What a goofball. I only want good things for our remaining strays.

10. Where is Sonya the cat? She's not living with her family.

The whole mother-in-law issue made me cry buckets, I don’t exactly know why. The mother-in-law seems kinda nice…
This!!!! The MIL didn't seem horrible to me. She seemed nice and caring. Although going through your DIL's cabinets was a bit much, so I get why FL wasn't thrilled with MIL.

Title The Match
I guess this was about as exciting as a movie about chess or go could be. The actors did a good job of portraying their real life counterparts. Netflix's subtitles were on the screen for too short a time, which made it hard to follow the conversations and extra titles describing the events.

Can you spoil what the idea of heaven is in this show?
In Heaven (TM), you have to have a job. And if you curse or insult someone 6 times, you go to Hell (TM)

And you have to pick what age you're going to be and who you'll live with, AND YOU CAN NEVER CHANGE either choice, which probably explains the going to Hell (TM) after cursing 6 times.

I'm dropping it at 4 episodes. I love fiction, but they clearly can't keep the rules of the world neat so it makes…
I agree about the writing. But I love the actors, so I'll keep watching and see if they nail the ending.

It's OK. The writing leaves a lot to be desired, but the actors are great.

Halfway through.
Ha! I knew Velma (female co-irker) was wanting to date or marry Takuzo.

Ha! I knew Shinpei had the hots for Takuzo the minute they met.

I wonder what Mia is going to think when she finds out.

Are we ever going to find out what Shinpei buried?

OOOOOH, I just realized where I've seen the President before. He was the father in "My Liberations Notes. " He and Mr. Gu worked together (on two levels, as actors and as characters).
