Dramas can get canceled hours before they are supposed to air by cn government so they were probably playing it safe and didn't announce it to anyone in case it turns out to be false hope but yeah it's hilarious! I've been waiting for this drama for years and I really thought it got buried by censorship.
I'm a little late but the movie is a sequel to the series. I'd highly recommend watching the series if you have the time so you learn who the side characters are and their backstories but since this movie is a slice of life there's no big mystery you're missing out on if you don't.
It's possible to watch this as a standalone but it will be more enjoyable if you watch the series beforehand.

Either Talay is a bad kisser or it's a reference to older bls when those types of kisses were pretty much the standard and considered NC, and shows like Together with Me were groundbreaking but didn't change much to the kissing styles. It could also be a way to highlight to the audience how much they're acting and faking the love by exaggerating the movements and stuff. Also, as shown later the directors don't like passionate kisses so it could also be a reference to that. Sorry I'm looking into it a lot xd It's so nice to see Seng in a very assertive role after people underestimatd him in SCOY due to his character! Honestly same people keep comparing this to Call it What you Want but that show felt pretty pretentious. I can't wait to see where they will go because this project feels like a breath of fresh air!

If you've going in as a time loop fan, you're screwed cause it makes no sense and they cut corners constantly in time loop storytelling (ie a magic book that crosses time and space to reveal all the mystery to the other lead). I personally enjoyed the organ trafficking stuff but it fell apart in the background later on. It's great quality for a bl but overall it's not up to my expectations.

True it just felt like they unravelled and closed too many things at once all while breaking my immersion with a lot of glaring issues. It would have been interseting to see Dr Doi's mental condition worsen for example.
Oh well the triage ending was absolute rubbish. After Kinnporsche I was hoping for a good quality last episode but this was horrible. I noticed that the script quality dropped once we entered the Tol pov loops but this finale was atrocious compared to the earlier episodes. What is this trend of making amazing dramas and then trashing the finale??? this went from a 10 to a 7 Anyhow, issues: - The plot went from ok medical drama to wtf who would let an unqualified stranger perform medical duties in the ER or even in general?? - Tol was an absolute creep during his loop, much worse than SCOY and somehow got off once Tin got his memories back? - Dr Doi had absolutely 0 motivations to menace people with a gun like what was the logic?? What goal did he have? Why wasn't this explained? - Action logic-wise if you kick a guy with a gun to the ground please knock him out or move the gun? If you see a creepy dude with a needle coming towards you, please say something? - Time loop-wise, I was so set on rewatching to make mindmaps of the mechanics but that last scene just said f logic, who's Jinta? there were time loops? Honestly if that ending is canon then so is the Guardian one cause at least Guardian has some logic. My big issue with the last scene is that they set up the entire storyline to be like the stronger forces don't want Tin and Tol to survive the 22:55 date so they must timeloop to save each other à la Life is Strange, how will we resolve this huge issue? IDK just have them magically meet on this clock tower and call it a day.
All in all, the last episodes were SUPER rushed and random and there would have been much easier ways to wrap up than this.

- Kim is ending music college and Chay is entering so maybe a 4 year age gap? - the couple are in the novel and basically the black haired one is a serial cheater and Kinn knows about it and they keep joking about it. The couple only stay together for buisness cause they're both company heirs and in the novel the black haired one cheats with one of Porsche's friends, which is a source of tension. They totally did not deserve to be present at the end I wanted to see the bodyguards instead... - For the plot twists, no comment cause I'm traumatized by how bad they were... I hope this helped a little!!
Dropped and I didn't watch the original... It feels like I'm watching a chinese propaganda movie with their agenda pushing among many other issues. The whole captalism is better than communism ideology talk is weird and every single person looks like a model, even the background characters which feels super creepy and unnatural. Plus the characters are soulless, the pacing is way too fast and this doesn't feel Korean...
If you have the time to devote yourself to watching the entire franchise (like 200 episodes) in order then yes…

But I forgot to add earlier that if you don't want to be confused because a lot of these productions add arcs, skip some and move scenes around it's also good to read the novels for a solid foundation!
