I seriously doubt that. This is Mango, not cheapskate iQiyi. Just look at how much care went into every single…
from the Republican-era dramas I’ve seen, being on Mango doesn’t automatically equal high quality. Still, we’ll see tomorrow and I’ll gladly eat my words if I’m wrong.
glad i’m not the only one that thinks this with the lack of good cdramas this has broken my heart. I will persevere…
twin, I’ve pretty much given up on most of the currently airing dramas. I’m on an anime break until something actually worth watching comes along. If I’m still watching any of them, it’s probably just to keep up at this point. Nothing has really been intriguing me lately.
Can someone tell me why Yan comes and goes from that house as if it were his own? I still really don't get that.
He’s a high-ranking imperial official (Imperial Advisor of the Ministry of Revenue) who was specifically sent to Hengtang to investigate the Xie family over corruption and the disaster-relief grain case. Because of that official order, he has real authority over the household. He can lock the place down, bring soldiers in the middle of the night, walk in whenever he wants, and the Xie family basically has to swallow it. That’s why the servants and the elders don’t dare stop him the way they would a normal visitor.
8.7 already? With how many episodes still left? I’m only on episode 4 and I genuinely cannot get through it. Nothing is intriguing, the acting isn’t pulling me in, and yet people are already calling every episode a banger. How are we rating a show this high while it’s still airing? We’re not even halfway. This score feels premature as hell. Still going to keep watching, but right now I’m just sitting here confused.
Sometimes doing nothing and walking away is the right thing to do. Usually going the legal route is the right…
The C-drama. But honestly, they’re both good. Exactly, I think that’s why *The Glory* worked so well for me. You still get the satisfaction of seeing the revenge happen, but the FL doesn’t have to deliver the final blow herself. You get the revenge without having to justify the killing.
