Genius in martial arts, doesnt mean genius in every aspects of life, especially in LLH case which is still very young (20). Just the same as our daily life reality, there is no perfect person who excells in everything… and betrayal, lust, act out of control because of woman, sufferings and “too tragic” life are all happening in reality too.
MLC is a biography of LLH who is young idealist, fell from the no 1 altar, how he got depressed facing betrayals and failures, later accepted his faith and chose a simple life, yet still noble enough to help other people as a doctor and give impact to society.
Its a story of us, who usually very idealist, have a lot of dreams etc. when we were young, but after going through life (usually at middle age), realize whats the most important things and let go/adjust most of that dreams.
So it depends on our focus, whether we want to focus on LLH sufferings, or LLH attitudes in facing those fate 😉
Well, in short i would say group watch (watching together with other ppl) is better than watching alone for poc case, so we can support each other mentality and can have a better positive views for POC.

Yes fate played with him, but he was managed to accept it, get up and start over for every falls he experienced.
So in my opinion, if ppl said POC makes ppl depressed, on the contrary i feel POC and chengxu role is a great inspiration for ppl in depression.
So dont afraid to watch, give it a try, it maybe a bit draggy in the middle, feel helpless etc, but after the climax is ep 45-50, all are payoff...
