The Divine ring is atm on the emperor's hand. Is getting passed down from an emperor to another. You already saw the Huotu one being on the Cangwu abyss underwater, revealed when Zhu Yan was in danger. In the novel the Huotu ring doesn't appear until the final battle which will be epic.

To put it in another way, if the crown prince would be Shi Yu and he would fall in love with someone else than Xueying, the ring would still respond only to a Bai woman, but as the crown prince is SY, this rule doesn't apply because of a certain condition, which has something to do with who SY is and who those 2 rings belonged to.

This drama is so so so so good! I mean GREAT! The CGI, special effects, viasually stunning! The fighting scenes and overall aspect of the conflicts are top notch. I'm stunned! Is like not watching a cdrama, this how good it is. And excuse me, but I knew XZ was good at acting and all, but not THAT GOOD, like damn, those moves are hollywood level stunts! The same goes for ren Min, her elasticity and facial plasticity makes of her a great Zhu Yan, because as a novel reader, this is exactly how I envisioned the battle scenes. I already watched the fighting scenes 3 times. 😅

I'm following several groups, that's also one of them, but they are a bit more moderated so I tend to go where people are feeling more free to comment because there are not many anti xz in the group.

In the book there wasn't an issue with managing the necklace, only the content of it being the blood of the dragon was an issue, but not actually touching it. The necklace was a heilroom left by the dragon himself to be given to his heir in order to resurrect him and free him from the Cangwu abyss.
In the book, the creators of the Kongsang were Emperor Xingzun and his Empress Bai Wei. They loved eachother. But then the emperor become cruel and the empress grew cold of him and killed herself, leaving him remorseful. The ring responded to Zhu Yan because they made love in a temple under the eyes of the statues of the twin gods of destruction and creation, who were the creators of the Yunhuang land and of the two twin rings, and who wanted balance in the world. Hence when SY was in danger, the Divine ring would protect him and when his beloved was in danger, Huotu would protect her, hence ZY being his beloved, the ring responded to her. I simplified it a lot, there are still some plot twists there.

The Huotu ring is a couple with the Divine ring worn by the emperor. Huotu belonged to the empress and vanished when she died. Huotu responds only in the hands of a Bai woman, but I would spoil it to you if I tell you that ring has a great role in how the drama will end.

Reading the various discussions, apparently TC platform is not the same as kiwi's platform and switching video does cause the heat index to trottle and drop. There were a group of IT nerds that got together only to test this and concorded it was the case.
Anyway, no matter what's causing the "bug", we all know is TC's manipulation behind the scenes, and we also know for what reason, which is pathetic. I'm wondering why the investors are not saying anything, I mean if I was one of them I would be pissed.

Someone needs to tell me whose daughter/niece/parent/protégée is Wang Churan that the director was willing to extend to such great length and importance the role of Xuelu just for her, she almost become 2FL when in the book Xuelu barely gets mentioned... I don't like this actress acting at all.

Remains to be seen if that drama has enough traffic. Let the karma work its way. I hope TC goes bankrupt and XZ never shoot another drama for them.

I read in DB that Tencent is changing the video source midway so the heat index is resetting and gets bugged, so that's why is starting to go sideways. Is mind-blowing they are willing to sabotage their own cashcow show...
