Omg !! go watch it right now don't waste your time with those type of questions ! There may be no romance but there is strong friendship, strong loyalty, family's love (the grandpa but I don't want to spoil it) which are simply beautiful and honest, it even made me cry so much. Furthermore, if you like YangYang already it is even better, that means there is 0 reason you will dislike this drama !

I'd recommend it to absolutely everyone. I am looking forward to the second season so much but I am afraid it will take time until the second season to come out because of the current crisis we are currently facing (covid-19) and maybe others reasons but I'll never loose hope of seeing a second season. Clearly one of the best drama of 2019 and the best e-sport drama ever of all time. I said what I said.

So, I dropped this drama. I was enthousiastic tho, in the begining, because after dropping boys over flower, I thought this drama would reconcile me with this kind of story in a way but yea I was wrong. However, meteor garden is, from my opinion, better than boys over flower. I dropped boys over flower at episode 6 and I dropped meteor garden at episode 18. The cast was not bad but not good either. I think Dylan Wang carried the show but not enough to make me want to watch until the end because of the story. Just like boys over flower it is way too slow. But I think it is made on purpose. This is the kind of story that does not keeps you until the end because it is too repetitive thus it becomes boring. It really has to do with the story in itself. If you haven't enjoyed boys over flower, I cannot guarantee you will enjoy this one.
