Did i miss it, what happened to the younger brother of Chu Chu. She seems to have totally forgotten about him

Historically I knew she had died, the writers seem to look at this drama from a modern perspective and not historically the respect required to be shown an Emperor or Empress Dowager. Just very disappointing

Just watched the final episode. I have to say these writers should never get another job, they did such a disservice to the cast half the story was non sensical. It ended up that the eldest sister was the craziest she seemed to have forgotten why YanYan was in the position she was in and her part in it. Both YanYan and Deyang forgave her. Which was proper

I didn't mind the story to much what pissed me off the most of the lack of respect for the Emperor. Any other Emperor would have killed Zin the second revolt and after the sons revolt would have wiped out the clan. The three princess's try to make the empress miscarry and all they get is house arrest for a few months. And the second sister is she living in an alternate reality her husband revolts 3 times her son once and she is mad they got killed. On a side note, they probably had to change the script a bit because Tiffany Tang was pregnant at the time so she couldn't do the more physical stuff.

I think you guys are being a little harsh. This is a fun relaxing type of drama and ZZH/JJY really get along well on and off set. They seem to really enjoy each other and you can see that come through. I am really glad they put in those bonus episodes. Made me smile and I think that is the first time I have ever seen JJY chase a guy.

I totally agree with you Brenda, that was the issue with me. Mingyi was scheming to steal Yan Yan for quite sometime and he knew what he was doing. If he sat down with Derang beforehand and said Brother this is going to hurt, but we need to do this for the future of the country. Sure Derang would have been upset, but would have given him some time to think it through. Instead he literally stole her away as soon as he became Emperor. If I was one of Mingyi followers I would have been like dang, that is cold blooded if he would do that to someone who was closest to him, what would he do to us.

She understood what Saeroyi needed to do and wasn't going to get in his way. She unfortunately trusted him, she learned the lesson don't trust a guy lol. But it did cost her 10 years of her life to learn that lesson

dang it lost the post. I will make it short this time Yi Seo to me was just evil. She was selfish and only cared about herself. She threw everyone else in the friends group under the bus and only changed her thinking when Ro Yi chastised her. The worst thing for me and what I found unforgivable, was abandoning Geun Soo to die. She didn't care, she didn't tell anyone of his plight when she was rescued and didn't even apologize to him at the end. It did not fit Ro Yi personality to switch to her at the end. He had strung Soo Ah along for 10 years and never once had her back. This drama really pissed me off.

I am with you. He is bugging the hell out of me also. He doesn't seem to care about anyone really but himself and what he wants out of life.

These are scholars not martial artists, would make no sense for her to be a MA in this story line. She is just a normal girl trying to help her brother and in that role she is doing ok. The only thing on the cross dressing that cracks me up, is she wears lip stick :). But I get it, it is a Drama have to understand they really don't want her to look like a guy.

Who is Kang Yeo Ri? The Ying Yang to me suggests they are two separate parts of a whole. Maybe the tree and child.

They threw it in quickly because so many people were not happy about the ending. It was never planned out or intended hehe

If I remember right it is the same ending but the bracelet nullifies the poison and she lives

Allot of folks in this thread mention that there should have been a happy ending where the mains got together. Everyone is forgetting she made an oath to her mother and herself that should would not marry Ning Yi. It would totally go against her personality to have done so. I don't think she should have killed herself though. I guess the pain of everything was just to much. I would have liked to see her get together with her bodyguard. Would have been beautiful babies no matter boy or girl lol

The dream didn't end. She just dreamed the ending she was hoping for, to be reunited with YJC and to have her child. That is why she saved YP at the end, which was different from the reality and he remembered. The end occured as she wanted it to.

Up to episode 6 and it really bugs me the way she is chasing after him. Does she really think he is the type of guy to cheat on his girlfriend, or to just dump his gf. She is like a stalker, I don't blame the gf for getting pissed.

Remember sh has been playing politics in the big leagues, doubt she is as sweet and nice to her enemies. Remember she snatched up Asule on his wedding night and didn't feel sorry for him at all hehe

Actually Yu Ran it seems she is a better actress than we thought, she is dating a 35 year old actor :) She can't be that much of a kid
