have to disagree with your assessment of Yuan Mu I found him annoying and extremely selfish. through out the drama his primary concern was to keep AShu as his pet. he never recognized or understood her responsibilities as princess and just wanted her to live with him. I don’t disagree with your assessment of AShu she always had her purpose in mind and looked at Yuan Mu as just a means to that end. I have to say they were both stupid in getting themselves involved in dangerous situations. yuan Mu to a greater extent as he had zero training in any combat skills. over all I did enjoy it. could remove yuan Mu all together and wouldn’t change the drama. I was sad for Susu

Tantai Jin will never trust her again and any professed love will be fake. Realistically she can never come back from this. This wasn't a misunderstanding this was out and out betrayal. And to top it off she caused her Grand Mother to die

Can someone explain why Xiwu gave up her mission for Xiao. She has no relationship with him in this timeline and this is the second time she has betrayed Tanyi Jin for him. It makes no sense that she would give up her mission for him. I am so so annoyed

Totally agree that he wasn't thinking of his wife or daughter and the chief could see it to, why he kept reminding him how good a wife he had. But, I think she knew also, remember those stack outs where all night long and sitting at the murders house was also an all-nighter. She never called the chief to say what is going on. By the look on her face during the funeral I think she accepted that everyone looking at him as a hero would be the greatest thing in the world for him Not saying it is right

I agree didn't make sense for him to be allowed to join. I think the reason they put time into his story is for the audience to get attached to him and understand him. I think he was looking to find a way to die a hero why he attached himself to the rookies.
