Title Novoland: Eagle Flag Spoiler
LOL! I am ok if he doesn't end up with Princess BORING!!! Why they could be the most boring couple in the world…
I must have forgotten to click post, if double post I apologize. Personally I like the Princess, she is mature, understands what Asule is going through and willing to be his partner in that journey. It isn't puppy love or lust. It is just simple caring for each other. The Princess was willing to sacrifice her life so that Asule could go find Yu Ran. She didn't try and stop him or find some excuse to keep him around. She knew his need and accommodated for that need. Asule is usually the one doing that for others. When he asked Ji to come and help, the response was nah don't feel like it, just going to hang out here and chill for a bit, but good luck hope everything works out for you lol. I will take a person like the Princess every day.

I feel totally opposite about Yu Ran. To me her acting is below mediocre. Also it doesn't help that her character…
I wrote up top that I might have been to harsh on Yu Ran, but also I don't see her care for anyone other than herself and Ji. She snuck out, more I think because she felt getting dumped on her wedding night lol and that bugged her. The food she got, she went ahead and ate, there was only a little left over because she was full. But have to remember they are all young, 19 to 21 in story time and relationships have really deep meaning or no meaning because they are new. Look how much she was willing to suffer for Ji. Personally I think the best match was Ji and the Princess of Li. They both were on the same page for goals in life. Ji hung out with Yu Ran because she was there and he just fell into it. You take Asule out of that equation, he would not have stayed around.

Have watched to the end of Yu Rans arc and I might have been to harsh on her in relation to how she has treated Asule. Going to give her the benefit of the doubt here. I think she kept her distance from Asule so as to not give him hope. Let him move on from her, as she never saw him as anything more than a drinking buddy. Even to the last as she entered the Temple she had no real words of goodbye for him. Poor Asule, always coming to the aid of others, but outside of Princess no one coming to his aid. Going back alone.

I'm kind of disappointed in Yu Ran even though you married Asule to save Ji Ye. You are the married woman you…
totally agree, not a fan of how Yu Ran treats Asule the entire show. He is nothing other than a drinking buddy to her. Only time she cared was when he was gone, outside of that not even one soup while he was sick or injured

where the heck is asule's uncle when you need him. can't wait for next week
They really didn't use his bond servants at all. In most dramas the bodyguards at least pop in after the fact these guys aren't around at all

In the 20s: What a terrible triangle - I feel so sorry for our three frineds... Reminds me a bit of King Arthur,…
When women are young they always go for the bad boy and neglect the decent guy, until they learn :)

Wait I’m on ep 17. Did Su Shun Qin really just died in the sword place? She was one of my favorite characters.…
She died and they basically walked over her bones without even caring that she had died.

The concept of friendship is over hyped in this series. The characters will go all out for their friends irregardless…
I totally agree with this comment. It pissed me off at the start when Asule says he would not sacrifice innocents to save a loved one. Than does exactly that to help Ji Ye killing his personal guard who tried to protect him. He does it throughout, disregards those trying to protect him because of his status. It really bugged me

Yu Ran never really acted as a friend to Asule, let alone a wife. She never went out of her way to take care of him or help him. If she wanted a drinking buddy than yeah, she would reach out. All the times he was hurt or sick, not once was she by his bedside. Except once, and that was probably because she was bummed to have lost a drinking buddy.

I have not been so obsessed with a drama since ”It started with a kiss” and „Kiss Me”. I have watched…
Just finished watching and I really enjoyed it. But yes, it does get better after episode 14. I don't understand how women here would want Yi Chen as a boy friend though. He is abusive, narcissistic and controlling. The reason he dated Mo Sheng is because she is weak lacking self esteem and willing to be obedient. The other women in his circle wouldn't put up with him. Once they got together their chemistry was mature and comfortable. Wasn't lovey dovey, they just fit. I thought both Wallace and Tiffany played their roles as the writer wrote them. It is worth watching

Glad you like it, Barcelo Girl :DWhen you reached the final episode, I have an Eng-subbed version which should…
I also thinks he doesn't want to burden her with having to take care of him. Not his style. He might be crippled, remember ZF said best case, he wouldn't be able to walk. Plus, he respects her decision to stay and repair GT City and wouldn't want to get in her way. He was always selfless

I am so confused. Everyone seems so sure that Chang An is still alive but where do you get that from? I know people…
My guess, if he is alive, he is so beaten up that it will take him a few years to recover. He doesn't want to drag her into having to take care of him and doesn't want the Prince knowing he is alive. So he worked everything out beforehand with Xingfing. Just my guess

okay her father is just effed up
Bummed me out that she never went to check on her brother. Not his fault that the father sold her. Especially after the flood. Didn't need to bring him back, but could have helped

Title Story of Yanxi Palace Spoiler
I never doubted for a second that Ying Luo still retained feelings for Fu Heng until the end. She understood him…
Yingluo has a long memory and she fully remembers the things the Emperor did to her. She realized the night she jumped in his bed that the only way for her to survive was to have a kid. There was no getting out and living happily ever after. It was get connected to the Emperor or die. She didn't say things she didn't mean, that is why she didn't tell the Emperor that she loved him. My guess is he is her last revenge and 5th Prince will be the knife. That will be when she tells him what is truly in her heart.

Title Story of Yanxi Palace Spoiler
This was completely worth the 70 episode count! BUT, I will say that because it was so long I felt that some story…
Ying Lou relationships through out the show were weird, she was totally devoted and loved her Older Sister, Empress and Min you, but didn't really seem to care for any of her own kids in the same way. Her daughters she shipped off to the Empress Dowager with the comment that their lives would be determined by the Emperor. She didn't fight or even suggest that they should be allowed to marry for love. The ending scene when the Emperor was still asking am I in your heart, she refused to answer with the comment you will know when i die. Is she playing the long game with him also for revenge? I do think she loved Fu Heng and if had been allowed to marry him probably would have had a normal life. But, her life was premised on revenge and that was her focus. Love was not part of that equation.
On The Legend of White Snake Jul 13, 2019
Alan Yu didn't do it for me, he just had no chemistry with Ju Jing and the love obsession didn't make any sense. There was nothing in the entire story that would make her that head over heels. I do like the over all story despite that. Except the end. No real man leaves his newly born child alone for 20 years, when his father was taken from him at a young age. And how Bai Su could have killed all those people and children made zero sense. Given for 35 episodes she preached no killing or evil. She showed no real remorse afterward and all she got was 20 years of seclusion which is nothing.
