Yeah just because you like her as more than a friend and have always been there for her doesn’t mean your love should be requited. I just think he shouldn’t have been reduced to such a cliche SL like we’ve seen with Soojin. He’s probably going to feel how soojin felt. Suho shouldn’t have left and he should’ve just moved on. I probably shouldn’t have said that because it seems like I want his love to be requited.
I am of a different option, I feel that a 2 yr time skip might show that true love stands the test of time. Maybe…
Omgggg what I am saying isn’t fact. It’s a speculation. And obviously those scenes aren’t a clear definition, because my speculation never happened. I literally made that clear that I was inferring. That’s what you do when you watch a show, you make assumptions of what might happen. Why are talking as if what I’m saying is fact. And when I brought up the webtoon, it was only my own speculation. Not something I knew for a fact was going to happen. And using the webtoon to speculate something is completely fine because that’s the original work. I never even said I want to see Seojun taking care of her. It was just me inferring.
Yeah, obviously time doesn’t does not equate that love be requited in True Beauty. We saw that with soojin. I’m not saying Seojun’s feelings should be requited. But that he deserves better and I should see his happiness from moving on. Especially soojin.

When I say he has been taking care of her, it’s from inferring from the clues we got. It’s not a fact because we don’t know for sure. But it was a pretty accurate guess. I pretty sure I’m right. Stop acting dumb. You can guess what’s happening based on what we are shown. Suho says take her home. And we see two years later that he’s still there for her. Also I read the webtoon, he does take care of her, they’re probably going to go off of that. And Seojun sees her as more than a friend. So obviously taking care of her means more to him and he gets nothing for it. And yes soojin took care of Suho for 10 years and just like Seojun she deserves better.
What happened this episode was what I didn’t want. Suho shouldn’t have left and they should’ve just ended the drama with them together. Him leaving and then Seojun taking care of Jugyeon but getting nothing in return because she’ll probably choose Suho doesn’t sit right with me. Seojun deserves so much better. Also since her character development has been concluded, this plot point is useless and unimportant. Because what else could it add to the story.
Even if Sooha isn’t angry about the fact that Jugyeon is ugly. She’s still wrong for not comforting and being there for her. If my friend was exposed and being bullied, I put aside the meaningless things, and comfort her. So if Jugyeon didn’t tell you she was dating Suho? She’s your best friend and as a good best friend you comfort her and ask questions later. She probably had a good reason, if not, then confront her about it later. It’s very immature being upset about that when you should be worried for your best friend.
The drama has achieved what the webtoon couldn’t. And that is Jukyeon’s character development. The webtoon is at 129 chapters and she’s still the same Jukyeon with the same insecurities. I appreciate the drama for not ending up like that. However, the fact that they’re planning to make Suho leave just like in the webtoon is so disappointing. The whole overarching theme was for Jukyeon to find herself and not care about what others think. That has been achieved. So what is the point of making up all of this drama of Suho leaving. What is Jukyeon going to learn from this. This really irks me. I really hope the preview is misleading and isn’t going really happen.
not that I dislike the drama but the webtoon had a more natural development of both the characters and story..…
Yeah, she’s probably going to break up with Seojun and get with Suho. But the whole overarching theme was makeup and insecurities and how she would eventually overcome her insecurities. But with how the webtoon is going, her character development doesn’t seem promising. Like it’s at 129 chapters and she was literally considering plastic surgery in a recent chapter. Not trying to bash plastic surgery, but her story was about achieving confidence wasn’t it. I think the webtoon just focused on the romance a bit too much. The drama however, I think she’ll have to face everything and gain a bit more courage since her secret is out.

I agree too, like what is the main point of the webtoon. The problems don’t look even close to being resolved yet. But the drama is actually doing a better job. I honestly think people who prefer the webtoon are the ones that just want Jugyeon and Seojun to end up together. And don’t care for Jugyeon’s character development.
Enjoyed the episode lol I have some quibbles but let's see how it goes. For me, with Seo Jun I don't feel that…
Yeah, I had some things I nitpicked at but overall, I enjoyed the episode. Plus, I feel the same way about Seojun. Even though I love his personality and prefer it over Suho’s, I can’t see him with Jugyung.
That’s very valid but my problem with Seojun stans is the way they make him seem like this type of perfect character…
I said your point is valid earlier too. But I also said a lot Seojun stans ignore his flaws for his looks. That’s the correlation. You can like whoever you want for whatever reason, I just want them to acknowledge their flaws too.

Sorry but I don’t think excusing trauma is okay either. Suho was neglected by his father and that can do a lot of shit to a growing child’s mind. He probably has a shit ton of mental issues too. Suho finally found someone he cares about, of course he’s going to be protective of it since he’s never had affection from people. And the fact that his two best friends are there for him either... yeah I don’t blame him for acting the way he did. Coming from someone who’s been neglected by her parents.

But like I never even said other groups aren’t biased. They all are. I just pointed out those who stan Seojun since Seojun was the main topic here. Of course a lot of people have used his sob story to justify his actions. Which I personally think is a very valid because a lot of people become protective due to their trauma of being neglected.

I have heard people say that the troll is faking it and I really don’t care. They are still pushing that narrative that Seojun is perfect. Which I was using as an example of how some some Seojun stans act. And of course I’m talking from my own experience. I have seen quite too many Seojun stans say he’s the best and bring down Suho. Also liking Seojun for his looks at times plays a part in not acknowledging his flaws. I’m not trying to say that you or every other Seojun don’t acknowledge them. But a lot of them refuse to. And I too like him for his personality and looks. I just want more Seojun stans to be a little less biased.
I’ve been seeing a good amount of people on tik tok claiming that seojun fans only like him because of his ”looks”…
That’s very valid but my problem with Seojun stans is the way they make him seem like this type of perfect character without flaws. He literally told Suho that he’s a murderer when he clearly isn’t. How would have Suho known the phone call was important. That’s messed up, imagine your best friend calling you a murderer. Like I want Seojun stans to put aside all his glory and acknowledge his flaws because Suho isn’t the only one with flaws. I truly don’t understand how we just decided Seojun is perfect when he clearly isn’t. A perfect example of this is @seojun best boy. Btw I am a Seojun stan, I prefer him over Suho but I sympathize and pity Suho more.
Yes! Exactly! Like if they were going to make her an awful person who would betray her friend then they should’ve…
I mean I guess but aren’t all characters tools to create drama between each other. And she’s always washing her hands, that is what calms her down, indicating she wants to keep her emotions under wraps. But I do agree, it was kinda lady how they presented her. And I don’t think they could let the show end without her getting a redemption ark because since they’ve used all the tropes imaginable, how could they not include that. But anyway, I don’t think this is the type of show to be overly critical about. For the cliche story they’re trying to present, I think they did a pretty good job.
