Currently watching = was on hold for a long time but was desparate for something light and fluffy but the topic is way more than that. Enjoying so far. Once again, Jang Na Ra is impressive.
I am at episode 7 and I want to drop it because older Jisoo's choices are so so wrong. Can I ask you something…
@AnicsiRoscoe - yes, agree with all you said. I don't like weak FL's and I almost dropped it when I watched the first time for this very same reason. I thought she'd matured but then realized she didn't. Her reasonings were not valid at first but later I realized they were valid to her and she thought she was protecting Jae Hyun...understandable. IMO she was serious about getting back with the dirtbag exhusband although it was a stupid move. It all wraps up and you can see where she was headed.
Started watching this cause I got tired of it popping up in my “plan to watch” feed. Started last night and turned it back on this morning before I had my first cup of coffee. Really enjoying it!!!
I'm rewatching - forgot how beautiful this drama is. So much I forgot so it's good I'm going for a second round. I think sometimes you're so caught up in the story and dialogue, you miss the amazing cinematography. I may have to go back and re-watch some of my favorites and pay more attention so everything.....not just the story.
One of my all time favorite couples - loved their chemistry. Loved FL's no bull shit mom and Secretary Tak cracked me up. I spent the first half of this drama wanting to push Gun's hair out of his eyes. A lot of cringey cliche crap. 2ML wsa too creepy but soooo damn easy on the eye.
Patiently waiting for the last 2 episodes next week. This is my kind of drama! I've loved every minute of it so far. Hwang Bo-ra/s character cracks me up every time - her expressions and gestures are hilarious.
Great show - loved the family dynamics - so much love and support for each other. the 2 dads stood out to me! This is a family drama and the romance takes a seat way in the back of the bus. Liked it very much.
I had trouble not dropping this - started out draggy and to be honest, I got tired of the constant bickering. Glad I stuck with it though - it got better and really enjoyed it till the end.
On episode 26 - this whole thing with the sister pisses me off so much. I understand ML’s and her husband are trying to protect her but to sacrifice their own happiness is just crazy.
Been waiting for this for what seems like forever - worth the wait 10x’s over. Such a beautiful drama. Highly recommend. JCW looks damn sexy with long hair.
I think season 1 was great and looking forward to season 2. I've been a fan of LMH for years and I think this is his best work. He has had a lot of crap roles in the past but he stands out in this one. I saw some interviews where he said that he went after this role hard and was determined to play the role of HanSu because it was unlike anything he's done in the past. The cinematography is simply stunning! As always, when I finish a drama that I loved I'll almost immediately rewatch it to catch little things that I didn't see the first time - came away loving it even more after the re-watch. IMO - this drama is by far the best I've seen in the past couple of years....I can't even pinpoint why I loved it so much - maybe a combination of the story, the writing, the actors, the cinematography or the OST...it moved me beyond expectation.
So much emotion in ep 8. Love all the characters and how the store is developing. The 2 grannies surprised me - you’d think they’d be the most judgmental regarding the teen pregnancy but turns out they’re surprisingly supportive. I shed a tear or 2 when In Kwon broke down at the end with his son....well actually several tears. I hate how abusive he was towards his son even before the pregnancy but he believes in brutal tough love and it's probably all he's known. His son will break the cycle. The slow burn with Jung Joon and Young Ok’s relationship is killing me - it’s either going to end in a beautiful story or really bad.....they’re really building up her secret past. A lot to look forward to.
This is seriously one of the best variety shows! Love the interactions between the staff and the store and restaurant customers. When the one elderly lady wished Kwang Soo a happy and health new year and said that young people struggle too much really touched my heart. Kwang Soo kept his back to the camera for a while and you could just tell that it touched his heart too. I hope we get the remaining episodes soon!
