Really love the close relationship the main character had with her best friend. With so often in dramas the only other female character just being a mean love rival, it was truly refreshing to watch.

You have angered the Noodle God. Prepare to die.

I, too, seek revenge upon my enemies by becoming a master chef in fact I can't wait until the part where he says blood is his "secret ingredient" or something.

LMAO I had a feeling who number one would be...and I was right. I think dramas with a somewhat nasty male lead…
Exactly. Many fictions materials aimed towards women have this message that as long as he's gorgeous and/or successful, you should just let him do what he wants because oh man look at that FACE! That body! But this is shallow and harmful to you, and also it'll give the other person the idea that they can get away with it, when they shouldn't.

LMAO I had a feeling who number one would be...and I was right. I think dramas with a somewhat nasty male lead are good only if he's paired with someone who can take it--if not, it quickly descends to, in some cases, practically or blatant abuse. I know some people think that women should be glad that a guy shows interest in her at all, but I hate that mindset. He may be handsome and beautiful now, but when/if you're both old together, he'll just be an asshole.

As long as you keep your sense of reality separate from fiction and realize "changing" people who mistreat others isn't actually this easy or romantic, that's all you need.

Song Hye Kyo...nice...I'm also glad to see Kim Ji Won in another drama. But even more exciting is the plot, war dramas have a lot of potential if done right, by that I mean balancing out the seriousness of war with your own character stories. I'm excited. Let's hope it rocks.

I almost never watch this type of drama because they usually feature many tropes I can't stand, like the swarms of mean girls who are the enemy and mean guys who eventually either redeem themselves and/or disappear. But this one's constant mixed reviews, now along with this article, make me feel that I should just watch it and decide for myself.

Thanks for the read.

This drama looks like such fun, and I'm so glad for a chance to see Lee Min Jung again. I absolutely enjoy her presence.

Honestly as someone who also has depression and anxiety disorders, not to mention general sucky brain things like ADHD, hearing about medical professionals like Dr. Jerkface really warms my heart and inspires me to trust them with my mental health. Not. That said, it could work well if they're trying to show both good and bad parts of the psychology field, something that'll only work if they try to do it.

I think I'll give it a shot. The main actor will probably annoy me but who knows maybe he'll develop well also the leading actress looks amazing and great so I'm sure she alone will be worth it.

I remember reading the webcomic and thinking, "this would make a good drama." And now, at last, we are here. Man I hope they keep the protagonist the same because I liked her.

This is my first drama with Moon Jeong Hee in it and she's doing quite a good job so far. It's an interesting family drama...I hope it keeps up this good pace until the end.

I watched the first episode. Shin Min Ah is striking as usual. But I nearly laughed when the "overweight, not so attractive" Kang Joo Eun appeared. She's more chubby than fat, and still sports smooth, unblemished skin, bright eyes, a nice smile, and pretty hair. Overweight, yes, but pretty nonetheless. I see often how society is towards overweight people, so Joo Eun naturally has to put up with the up-and-down looks and "stop eating so much." Oh, but just wait until she becomes skinny and fabulous and knocks their socks off. [eyeroll]

That said, I was happy to see Henry in this show and overall it was alright. I'm mainly watching for Shin Min Ah but I hope it won't further the usual tropes but try and give something different, something with substance.

I LOVE Kang Joo Eun, but I hate the "overweight girl becomes skinny and conventionally attractive, snags a hot guy or two, life is great" trope. But then, I can't judge a drama before watching.

I don't get why no romance is a bad thing. I love romances but romance in everything is tiring. I need a break once in a while, and a drama like this that still has strong, emotional relationships without is a keeper. The boys' friendship, and the girls' made me so happy, especially since a lot of romance are so full of "rivalry" that there's little time for things like this. I love it.

Ah, but when Lee Won Gun, Ji Soo, and Eun Ji are all so beautiful I'd enjoy watching this show even if it was boring. Actually, the entire cast is so beautiful, and so charming. It's a lot of fun.

There was something else about this drama that makes it less stressful for me to watch: Soo Ah isn't in love with Kim Yeol. Lol. Honestly I'm kind of tired of the majority of the mean girls in drama also being the love rivals. Or the majority of love rivals being mean girls. This made even the first five dramatic episodes easier to get through.

Obviously there's no excuse for Soo Ah's actions, however, what I do like is how this drama also shows how much an impact bad parenting can have on how your child turns out. Yes, it's ultimately their choice, etc, but it's also important to realize how Soo Ah's twisted upbringing, and in that case, family and peers, were too contributors to her acting this way. Her actions are her responsibility, for this there is no doubt. But also, the blame is not just hers, but alose those who made her that way. I like that about this drama, because it's an important message. You affect others, too. Especially if you're in a close and influential position, be it relative, friend, or instructor.
