Eun Ji is so cute!! I really adore her smile. I think I'm in love and oh gosh this is such a fun although, admittedly, cheesy as heck drama. I'm looking forward to the rest for sure.
I'll also add that you can like a drama with these things in it without liking ~those things~ in particular or like a character like this without trivializing or excusing what they've done.
It's easy to dismiss these things as fiction, but after seeing them in real life, they can NEVER be fiction to me ever again. I'm honestly sick of so many forms of media portraying that it's okay for some guy to drag you around, demean you or even abuse you because he's hot or he's so sweet sometimes, or that it's funny to watch a girl beat up a guy because he messed up her coffee order. As someone who has personally seen and experienced these things, it's never fiction to me.
I DON'T condemn people for enjoying this content. Many survivors actually enjoy these things to cope. However, they tend to make me personally uncomfortable.
Yoona is just so pretty and nice that I can't see her as Nodame very well. She isn't bad at acting, I'm merely unsure of whether she fits the character. After all, Nodame is very weird! Joo Won has some experience with cold characters, and also rich snob roles that I think he'll probably do well. Although Chiaki was kind of silly, so I dunno about that.
Is Yoo Jin Woo going to be the love rival for Jung Soo Young or not? Right now it doesn't seem like it much, but I would love it if he was, since it would mean he'd fall in love with the woman he's been mistreating until now.
I wonder if Jae Hee is getting so much hate for her character itself or for the actress playing her?
In any case, tbh I'd think the drama would be more interesting if it were slightly more medical-centric. Now we just get a lot of talking and less action. The medical scenes themselves aren't really on-par for a medical drama either.
Can anybody tell me why Yoon Joo Hee was only a guest star for this season? I tried to be smart and Google it…
My guess would be that since this series has several seasons, they wanted to avoid having it get repetitive and always with the same cast, so they switched out the lead detective for a season. I mean, they switch out the cast for the autopsy group except for the chief and Sung Do (until s.4) each season as well.
