I think the character she's playing is Yi Zhangzhu. In this respect, although she's not a villain, her character is quite annoying, fake, naive and snobbish. I like Kong xueer tho, so I'll be watching regardless

Damn, I really wished they wouldn't change much from the novel. The dynamic between Yin Gezhi and Guan Fengyue is so different from usual cdramas and hat's what makes them unique
From the synopsis, it seems even the core areas of the plot has changed. Does anyone know if they're going to keep Fengyue working in a brothel in the drama or is that scrapped?

Can't wait to see Yin Gezhi and Guan Fengyue. Whilst reading the novel Deng Wei was the only person I saw for Yin Gezhi and similarly, Li Wanda was the only one I could see playing Guang Fengyue.

I respect your opinion, however I personally would like to see romance between Wawa and Xiao Ao's character. It might seem crazy but I've shipped their characters since moonlight mystique 😄 well we'll just have to wait and see what happens. I'm just glad Wawa is acting again.

I found the book synopsis and it doesn't even mention Chen yi at all. I think this adaptation isn't gonna be all too faithful to the book cause that synopsis and now or never's synopsis doesn't feel at all like the same work. If they're taking liberties with the adaptation then maybe we can expect them to heighten the romance in it
I don't see Dai luwa's character in the synopsis, can anyone tell what her characters role is? And also if there's romance between her and Ao ruipeng's character.
