Oh my goodness gracious I seriously hope not cuz I'm also watching The Legends and it's rumoured to be a sad ending so if this one is sad too.... well... I'm gonna be one sad person. lol

Same. I'll pray with you. LOL. It really sucks if the ending is sad cuz the drama actually has a pretty high rewatch value (I think). But a sad ending would totally kill that.

It was very common in ancient Chinese makeup. The legend goes that one day a princess was sleeping under a tree when and blossom fell and landed on her forehead​, leaving a permanent mark. When the princess awoke, she tried to rub the mark off but it could not be removed. All the maids and court ladies thought it was beautiful and started imitate it by drawing flower designs on their own foreheads. That's how the story goes, and that's why ancient China, many women in the palace liked to have flowers painted on their foreheads. I hope this answers your question! :)

Me, first episode : Ugh. Seriously not my type. Too much CGI, normal plot but still will give it a chance till…
SAAAAAME! I almost dropped it when I got to episode 4, but then all the reviews say how good this drama is so I continued watching and now I'm seriously hooked. I agree that Xu Kai isn't the BEST looking actor but he definitely grows on you. Especially when he's Mo Qing at the beginning where he's still innocent and SUPER CUTE.
