In Short summary its the trauma that affected her way of thinking, most Victims with such backstory always find…
Yeahhh, how I knew it was so bad was when she was looking at her mum after the incident and we could her her thoughts. My heart was breaking for her, the one time she opened up to her mum, she cut her off, she then thinks it's easy to make up? In her dreams🙄 They really did explain their story well.
Finally finished this show after so many months/weeks. Firstly, Sang Yan is soooo sneaky and mischievous omg, he is so scheming jeezðŸ˜ðŸ˜‚ At first I found him and YiFan annoying, cause why was he so proud?? YiFan was the reason it took so long for me to finish the show though. I didn't understand why she kept pushing him away, running from things, getting together with him then leaving him and everything behind. The way she acted really didn't sit right with me, she had that puppy look face, like she was weak, a very pitiful look.
The last couple of episodes made me understand her more and I feel like this show, or the last few episodes were her healing era. She really went though a lot and they way she handled everything made me understand her better, especially after she opened up. Not having family support during everything and her father's death was already so much for a child going through harassment. I'm really glad she cut of her mum cause she was not the best parent, even after her ex-husband's last words. I'm glad she found happiness, SangYan too. She really does deserve the best, they both do.
I was postponing watching the show because I prefer watching things that are complete so I don't have to wait, but I noticed the episodes haven't been updated in a while. I decided to do a little investigating and luckily came across this post. First, thanks to the author for writing and translating.
Secondly, netizens can do too much at times. It took me a while to understand Lusi's condition cause I saw posts of her sick and was wondering how on earth things became the way they are. I finally was able to watch an interview she had explaining her condition and what she went through. I'm happy she decided to have a show where it's just her, we get to learn more about her and what she's been through while seeing relationships she has built during her career. Her talking about her routine, lifestyle, that gives us a glimpse of how she has been living as a celebrity and how it has affected her.
In life, we learn things, we are constantly going through things, growing. She's a regular person who also has difficulties. Personally, the way I view it, like her going to a rural place, it's like going to a place where no one knows you, talking about yourself which could be therapeutic in it's own way. see it as her being vulnerable and letting us see a side of her other variety shows and drama's don't show.
She has to earn money even with what she's going through, so her being involved in brands isn't and shouldn't be surprising. She's doing things where she can earn money, as well as being brave instead of letting the emotions and what she's going through bring her down to a state where she can't get up from. She probably has so much money that she's able to receive better treatment options, her doctors and her know her condition better than us watching her.
Personally, I don't see anything wrong with her or the show. She may be spreading awareness on a community and their lifestyle, while experiencing it for herself. Instead of finding faults in the things she's doing, why not appreciate what she's trying to show and tell. If it's so hard seeing what she's trying to do, then watch something else instead of criticizing someone who is exploring their themselves and trying to live better.
some say it's logical ending. i think if this drama ends with happy ending, they would also say it's logical ending.…
I get you honestly. I was hoping the last episode would be enough to give us a happy ending but that didn't happen, even the last bts was so sad :( But I understand why it ended like that.
First of, she never mentioned staying with him or going with him to his world, even after he left so many times for her. I would understand if she stayed in the human realm for her family but she could always come back 12 years later (why didn't any of them think of that? But she didn't suggest that or mention it.
Secondly, he had responsibilities. His world was withering and he had to do his best to revive the flowers. If we consider it before the future thing, he had to go back cause his brother died and his father was old and dying, the current version, his father died and his brother alive, but the brother needs help too (which is why I still don't get why she didn't go with him or suggest that).
Lastly, she forgot everything, this is the part that irks me cause why did that man have to give her the conch for her to remember???? If she didn't have that hint from the man, she wouldn't have remembered, then again, she's so persistent that even without the conch she would have remembered anyway.
So I get why it's sad, they have to go their separate ways, plus they did mention when he killed the white crow, that something was severed. I'm guessing their relationship or what possibilities they could have had was cut off using that sword. Also, when they were in the painting, the little monk that read his fortune said it wasn't going to be a good one. So as much as it hurts not seeing them have a happy ending, I get it :( {not happy about it btw}
Zhuang Shi Yang is such a terrible person, the character makes me so disgusted. Not only did he kill his father but his family is not spared. I've seen drama's where the male schemes to marry his love but usually the female usually likes them or there's a sort of an understanding between them. He keeps saying all he's doing is to save his family but he killed his wife, he uses and manipulates the concubine to go against the main wife and daughter, manipulates his other daughter into a marriage that's like hell and would eventually destroy her, "mistakenly" killed his first child. His love for Han Yan's mother became an obsession, I still can't wrap my head on how a man could kill someone they love and act normal. What pisses me off is how he schemes but acts so innocent, so disgusting, a combination of a snake and rat.
A fool who never completed a single drama entirely order than "The blood of youth", is here spewing nonsense about…
Everything is wrong with insulting them. I never said their comment was right also. I'm not criticising you, only saying that you can support your favourite actor without insulting another person while hoping that you choose your words nicely while stating a point.
A fool who never completed a single drama entirely order than "The blood of youth", is here spewing nonsense about…
You didn't have to insult them. That's their opinion and you can't change that. You can respond to their comment without coming for them as a person, after all it is their opinion and what you think or say can't change that. To you, he is a good actor, to them he is not, so what? You can support him without coming for another person, even if their opinion or comment doesn't align with yours.
1)is there love triangle? if there how much deep it is ?2)when do leads will be together3)is there any breakup?…
1) yes, she likes someone else then eventually falls for the male lead. Personally I don't think it's that deep cause she gets over it quickly and the male lead does a lot and that most likely touched her. 2) towards the end 3) No breakups between the main leads 4) yes
I really enjoyed this drama. Ren Min is amazing in this drama, compared to the longest promise, her hair and costume were really nice. Anytime I see ZWY married, I get happy for him, at least he gets a happy ending compared to Lost you forever.
Jiang Ci pisses me off, she's so annoying. WHY is she still a the mansion? She should just leave, it's so annoying. I need to let out this frustration lol.
The snake that kept her company could have been XL? 🤯 I had never thought of that
I think so, cause the reaction he had during that conversation made it seem like he realized something y'know. The fact that they never showed that interaction bugged me cause we got to see the nine-tailed demon that tortured her. Plus, when I finally saw Xiang Liu's demon side, like the nine heads, it just made me feel like it was him, I may be wrong though.
I've seen comments that aren't happy with the ending but I think it's good or fitting for the story. I'll be commenting on the guys and my thoughts on them and their love. I'm not sure if it's classified as a spoiler but this is a warning just incase.
I don't think Fenglong liked Xiao Yao, even if he did, other things were more important. He honestly was a good friend and confidant but that's all I could see him as. Maybe its because of the way he grew up but he wasn't even talented, but he's a better rich boy than most, cause in stories like this and guys like him, they usually are too arrogant and they tend to do bad things like his sister but he somehow still had a pure heart despite everything/temptations.
I really didn't like Xiang Liu in the first half of the season, but I gradually understood him, silently rooting for him. He loved her, his love is no less than Cang Xuan and Ye Shiqi/Tushan Jing, maybe even more if possible. I read one of the reviews above and they really hit the nail on the head. He knew and understood Xiao Yao better than herself, maybe it's cause they experienced similar things growing up, the torture, being abandoned, etc. I also feel like the snake who kept her company was him which is why he was so emotional when she spoke of her experiences. Although Xiao Yao spoke about what she went through, I feel he's the only one who understood and maybe that's why he made the decisions he made. He knew how much Xiao Yao's parents death affected her and that would literally be the same ending if they ended up together. He was unable to let go of the debt he had long made up for and he didn't want to drag her down with him, therefore I respect his decision.
Cang Xuan ah, I'm glad he was honest with her. They're two broken people who had nothing but each other, even through separation , their longing for each other was touching. Cang Xuan is just like Fenglong, other things are more important than love. I'm glad he didn't give into his desires, cause that would have been selfish. I was actually suspecting that he killing Jing, thank goodness he had his grandfather, if not, all the hard work would have been chaos. Cang Xuan is a good leader, King, Brother, Son, but not a good lover. He really had two choices and I'm glad he chose the throne cause Dahuang would have missed a good leader if he chose Love. Plus, the path he took would have ruined his relationship with Xiao Yao if he did go for her. He's better of as a brother than a lover cause that's just what they need for each other, family.
As for Tushan Jing, even though I would have preferred Xiang Liu, I'm glad she chose him. He honestly only had eyes for her which was very cute but at the same time he was so weak. Yeah I get he was tortured and whatnot, came back from the brink of death, but he was too weak. If he and Xiao Yao were to survive in the wilderness, he would die first, not because he would most likely block/protect her but cause he can't do anything but spit blood. I remember the scenes with him trying to save Xiao Yao in season 1 when she was still Xiao Liu, he was skilled but all of a sudden he can't fight his brother? The fight was mostly his bother giving him blows, I could hardly see the effort which made me frustrated with him. I understand his brother is more powerful and skilled in fighting but if he could fight Fenglong and give him a red eye, why can't he give his brother one too? He did live up to Xiao Yao's expectation so that's good.
The ending was satisfactory but the story leading to it might have been a bit boring for me.
Love like a galaxy, Yanxi Palace, Story of Kunning Palace and the story of minglan are good for historical or palace dramas. Though Minglan is a bit long, the scenes are rich or good. Yanxi palace is also long.
For modern, when I fly towards you, lighter and Princess, Gen Z (Zhou lang), Meet yourself, and Go Ahead are good. They all have romance if you’re interested.
This was a good drama and the casting, wow. I have a few things to say about the acting though. Li Meng's (Wanning) acting was so good, as much as I disliked her character, I couldn't help but pity her and she really did well with the character. Secondly, Jin Yan's (Jiang Li) acting seems a bit stiff when it comes to showing love. I don't know if it's the image I have of her in Yanxi palace, but even in Legend of Hao lan, it's hard to see the "love", she does well in other areas but I didn't feel the connection between her and Xing Yue (Xiao Heng). They do look good together.
I honestly didn't like it at first, it took me 4 months to finish this (I think) but it felt like a year or 6 months. I never use 2x speed to watch any drama, but I used it on this twice but that was only for the dancing scenes towards the end of the show, they were so slow and long for no reason. The show only became interesting during the ending (so somewhere between the later half when the sea emperor was showing up). I found Zhu Yan annoying (the voice especially, I'm not sure if it's dubbed tho) even the bangs were annoying, I normally don't like bangs in costume drama's but with Bai Lu it was actually cute. With her, I understood it was to give the feeling that she was still young, but with Zhu Yan...I don't know, it ticked me a bit. You could tell her costume started getting a bit better then, so that period she met Sumo. I also couldn't feel the romance between Shi Ying and Zhu Yan, the romance in the show didn't really get to me for me to feel touched during their separation or his death(s) which would normally touch me.
Hae Soo pissed me off most of the time and I found that Wang So was what kept me going in the drama. I’m glad I didn’t drop it. Even though the ending got me shedding tears (the only time I cried a bit) it made up for all the anger and frustration I felt with the FL ( I love IU by the way, it just didn’t make sense that she was so frustrating). Plus, the ost was lovely.
It’s so obvious there are cut scenes. Like why are they showing flashbacks of things we didn’t see in episode 20? And I was looking forward to the confrontation scene😠Plus they’ll be talking about things we didn’t even watch, like why????ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ Ps. I just had to share rn
