Why did they edit it so much though? I really liked the show but it really felt like there were holes in the storyline, like I was missing something. Was there something wrong with the rest of the episodes? or did the actors have issues?
I have to say, I wish we got more moments with Zhou Ying and Zhe Liu. Their relationship and the ost accompanying them was beautiful. As for the male lead and female lead, I think they did well, it’s my first time watching the ML, and I found him…interesting. I see a lot of comments saying he’s stiff, but I think that’s how he’s meant to be cause he doesn’t know much about love, just sacrificing himself for his friend and their world (note: this is just what I think). As for the King and Tilan, they had a toxic relationship (they even admit it at some point). I’m surprised they were able to resolve it but the relationship during the toxicity scared me, especially with the tonics and Tilan being weak in health. Overall, the ending was sad but understandable (except the Kings and Tilan’s story).
