I'm really loving this show , it's so funny. I'm actually watching it for free on Viki because they're allowing people to view some of their better dramas for 2 weeks for free.
I have to say that actor that plays the nerdy guy, Ahn Hyun Kyu sure reminds me of RM from BTS 🤣🤣🤣 I love him to death but man they sure have a little bit of a resemblance doesn't anyone else think, right?

Well, I persevered and finished it up just because I wanted to complete it but man it was painful, so if you try and watch a little bit every day maybe that would be better than trying to binge watch it if that's what you were doing...

The reason JK didn't joint the SDT is because with that there is at least a 3 to 4 year commitment as opposed to the 18 month recruitment period for which he is serving right now. That would have thrown a wrench into the plans for BTS after everyone finishes their military enlistment.
Once again, you CAN be gay and be in the SK military but you cannot act on your desires and have sexual relations with your partner while you're ON the base. It is not a crime to be gay and join as a companion and fulfill your role. You can't openly walk around groping each other etc. Everyone has their own particular jobs as we all know JK cooks and Jimin is with the Fire Detention Centre so at the end of the day they can be near each other etc and have access to each other.
I'm not going to be discussing this with you any further. You clearly have your own ideas and I'm not interested in them.

What are you talking about? They can join the military but they can't have sexual relations while they're AT the base. They didn't need to break up before enlistment. They CAN coexist at the military base and they ARE because they joined together and are serving in the 5th Infantry Division TOGETHER. One more thing, I believe it would be more accurate to describe Jimin and Jungkook as being Pansexual.
Noticing that the black Gilligan Hat that Jung Kook is wearing here in the commentary is the same black hat that Jimin was wearing when they sang MIC Drop during that Love Yourself concert performance in Japan.
I'm sure it will actually be easier for them to get back into the swing of things with them being so physically fit from being in the Military. Yup they'll be hitting the road before you know it.

With episode 8 finally dropping, I really don't know what MORE people will need to see in order to believe that Jimin and Jung Kook are indeed in a romantic relationship. I believe that they have been gently but methodically unfolding the layers of their relationship to us so that when they do confirm what many of us already suspect, we won't be shocked. They shouldn't have to live the rest of their lives hiding it.
These are some of the BOLD and in your face statements that Jung Kook and Jimin said to each other in this particular episode. Plus there were a few scenes that were interesting to note.
1) While eating dinner Jimin took a photo of Jung Kook and referenced "This is the BOYFRIEND shot" and then we got to see the picture that Jimin took of Jung Kook. 2) Jimin was so full after they ate dinner that he was showing Jung Kook how he often unbuttons his pants to eat and then Jung Kook said to him, "Take off your pants...and your underwear" 3) Jimin called Jung Kook "Honey" when they began drinking the whisky that Jimin bought for them 4) At one point, Jimin also called Jung Kook, "Baby" and "Koo Koo" 5) Jimin thanked Jung Kook for driving on their trip and then JK said he liked driving abroad to which Jimin said, "I know" to which Jung Kook said "I actually prefer small streets a lot more than large roads. It's more romantic like this" and then Jimin said, "This is romance, this is youth and this is nice" 6) Jung Kook was looking around for Jimin wondering if they should go for another dip in the jacuzzi but Jimin didn't answer him so when he found him sitting by the window looking at his phone, he walked over to him and then began rubbing his head and then he looked at the camera and said. "Jimin doesn't like it when someone touches his head but I'm touching it now". And then he continued to rub Jimin's head without any objections from Jimin. Personally, I think that was Jung Kook's way of telling "the neighbors" that, "He lets ME do that because I'm his Honey and his Baby." so stop trying to pair me with someone else. 7) Jimin was laying on the stairs singing "Honey, oh honey" and then he looked at the camera and said "If you watch my trip with Jung Kook here, you'll know exactly what I do everyday at home". So, if you read between the lines then you'll pick up on the fact that they lived together before they enlisted. It's been said that JK bought an apartment for Jimin back in October of 2018 as a birthday present. Look it up. Jimin also made reference to the fact that Jung Kook always snores and since they have been a couple and were living together, he would know that it's not a random thing. 8) Jimin and Jung Kook were coyly discussing whether or not they should go into the jacuzzi in only a way that a romantic couple would decipher 9) Jung Kook asked Jimin if he had already gotten his physical exam and Jimin laughed with a bit of confusion and then JK said "No, right?" and then Jimin said, "We're going together, you know" and JK says, "Oh right". By now we all know that they joined the military as buddies so they wouldn't have to serve apart. They have different jobs during the day obviously but they are accessible to one another since they stay in the same barracks. 10) When they were joking about that high chair and being able to fit into it, they each tried to sit in it but they wouldn't fit. Jimin says, "My butt was unbelievable back in the day" and Jung Kook asked, "What about now?" and Jimin says, "Now it's just believable, you know it's believable" 11) In the earlier part of the episode, Jimin got out of the vehicle to hit the convenience store on the way to their accommodation for the night, I thought it was absolutely adorable how Jung Kook was literally still sitting inside the vehicle but you could see his eyes following Jimin's every move as he walked around the vehicle. He had this sultry smile on his face and a look of someone that wanted their partner right now. 12) It was interesting to watch them driving and listening to each other's songs and singing along to them. The dance moves here and there were another bonus 13) When they sat there watching episode 1 of AYS, they sat really close and at times appeared to be touching one another, which is exactly what a couple would do. Jung Kook had his arm resting on top of the back of the sofa near Jimin's head. 14) Jimin and Jung Kook were driving to head back to the airport when Jimin brought up how Jin had texted him earlier when they were eating. Apparently Jin told Jimin that he had a dream about him going into the military and JK said "It's not a dream, it's reality" and Jimin said that it must have been a premonition but Jung Kook couldn't figure out why HE wasn't in the dream when they're going together and then he said "I'm hurt" 15) Jung Kook stated that he wanted to go back to the first day of their trip. 16) They both seemed kind of down that the trip was finishing and to pick up their spirits, JK opened up the windows to perk them up. Naturally it got pretty cold inside the vehicle and they were giggly about it. Jung Kook then said, "This is what's romantic" and Jimin who was obviously freezing jokingly said, "Nothing's romantic here...there's no romance in me" and they both laughed and rolled the windows back up. 17) Jung Kook said, "I love this show so much" and then Jimin agreed and as Jimin was saying "There's so much I liked about all of our trips", Jung Kook put his hand on Jimin's back and rubbed it. Jung Kook then said, "Honestly, these were the best trips I've had in my life" and he recanted everything they did. I loved the flashbacks. And they both said when they get a chance to do this again, they would love to.

Incidentally, Jimin and Jung Kook were asked what their ranks would be when this show was released and Jimin sheepishly said, "Privates" because how could he know? But if anyone didn't know, they were actually promoted to the title of Corporal as of September 1st/ 2024. Tae apparently was also included with them on that date but RM got his Corporal title a little bit before that.
And for those people that watched this episode and still say they are just brothers.........OH, BROTHER 🙄

They have pretty much laid out enough bread crumbs for people to nibble on but if you missed them OR you absolutely refuse to digest them, then that's your problem.
I've said this before and I'll say it again, my prediction is that when they come out of the military, I believe they will publicly confirm their relationship. To be clear, they don't have to confirm anything to anyone but I think because they're getting older and with there being nothing else in their way, I believe that they feel like it's time to start living their lives as they choose AND I think this show was a means to help them prepare for it ❤
