It looks like there are more than a few people who seem to think that Yuk Jun Seo is a big red flag and yes, maybe he's not the most eloquent Singles Inferno guy to ever walk the beach AND maybe he's not the typical romantic KDrama boyfriend that we have seen so many times BUT he seems charming in his own way. He has a rough exterior but I'm willing to bet that he has a very soft heart.
Si An on the other hand is (to me) the BIGGEST red flag ever. She has 3 guys vying for her attention and as we witnessed on her latest date which was with Yuk, she was very obviously annoyed while having to mingle with one of her 3 suitors who ironically, was on his very own special date in Paradise. She looked like she would have rather switched places.
Her relationship with Yuk will never work out because as you can see at this very early stage, she already is trying to change him. She doesn't like how he talks to her. She wants him to be more gentle with her. She doesn't like this, she doesn't like that. What does she like about him? If you don't like the qualities that someone has and you're in the beginning phase of the relationship, then I'm sorry but you're doomed to fail.
It's okay that Si An prefers a guy that will talk sweetly and/or be more gentle with her. There is nothing wrong with that BUT you can clearly see that Yuk is not that type of guy so instead of trying to mould him into what she wants, she needs to pick one of the other two guys who are still waiting around patiently for her to look their way.
I think Yuk is more suited for Kim Min Seol. The way they banter back and forth is funny and quite adorable. She clearly likes Yuk too. She likes him as he is. They seem to have chemistry with each other. The biggest thing is being able to laugh in your relationship and they really demonstrate that fact so well.
Yuk is going to find out the hard way. He seems a bit guarded and he said that he has rarely told anyone in life that he loves them so, IF Yuk and Si An pick each other and leave Inferno Island together, I give them maybe a month (wow, I'm being generous) but she is going to break his heart because she'll toss him aside when he doesn't do exactly what she wants in a more timely manner.
As I said in another thread somewhere, Kim Min Seol reminds me of Lee Nadine. It's always the girls who seem to be so down to earth and are nice that always get left behind. I wanted Jinyoung (Dex) to wake up and give Nadine another look. They had done some videos together and he even asked her mother about dating her or something along those lines and the mom seemed to approve. He was jokingly asking for permission I believe. Whoever winds up with Nadine will be lucky. I hope Kim Min Seol finds someone who appreciates her.
Yes, the game isn't over yet but it looks like the writing is on the wall 🙄
By the way I thought it was interesting how Yuk and Si An were holding hands on the way to that pub they went to but on the way back to Paradise, they weren't. The hosts missed that tidbit because they talked about them being all touchy feely beforehand but nothing after.
I like her. She has a great personality. She reminds me of Lee Nadine from season 2 in that it just seems like the really nice girls always end up finishing last 🤔
I hope she finds someone great eventhough I think that she and Yuk Jun Seo have good chemistry together.
i dont find them simialr to eachother but to other contestants before this
Well it's just that most of the girls all have the same long dark hair and facial features.
At first I thought it was just me that felt this way but I looked online to see if anyone else was asking about the similarities in looks of the girls for season 4 and there's actually something on Reddit with other people were confused as to why the girls on season 4 all look alike.
As I mentioned that one girl has a lighter tone of hair color so she's easy to spot and then the other girl that came and joined them has bangs, so she's easy to differentiate but it's the other girls that all seem to look alike. Believe me I've watched a lot of Korean shows so it's not like I'm just watching a Korean show off the cuff for the first time and I can't tell anyone apart. I mean some people will look at BTS and say they can't tell the members apart which just astounds me but you get my what I'm trying to say here, right?
Now having said that, I do find it easier to pick out Kim Min Seol because her eyebrows are a little different than the other girls and she has long layers of hair around the face where as the other girls all have one length to their long dark hair...
I don't like her either. I'm sure she's probably a lovely person IRL but she comes off really flighty on Singles…
She kind of reminds me of Seulki from the 2nd season remember with Jinyoung (Dex) and Nadine? I thought Dex and Nadine made a really nice looking couple and then he went and chose Seulki and she chose the other guy 🤣
Okay, season 4 just seems a little weird to me because of the fact that (aside from two of the girls on the show) the rest of the women look far too similar to one another...
wowwww I don’t like sian at allll I liked her at first the most! And I thaught Joeng was redflagg 😑 ofc he…
I don't like her either. I'm sure she's probably a lovely person IRL but she comes off really flighty on Singles Inferno. And gee, like she doesn't know she's got three men vying for her. I like Kim Min Seol and it looks like she's going to get hurt. I actually thought Yuk Jun Seo liked he for a split second or so it seemed ☹️
Haha I agree on the hair styling. But it suited the characters who have more dire things to care about than their…
Yes , I know that his particular hairstyle or should I say lack of one was actually integral with the part that he was playing because it really made his character appear to be listless and so the viewer felt it but still, he looks way better when his hair is off his face. Am i right? 🤣
I started this, but I can NOT get behind an FL who is willing to lie about being pregnant to trick a man into…
Personally I found her character to be very annoying. I think whoever played that character would probably annoy me as well because I believe it's the actual storyline that I just don't really care for.
this was overhyped imo… i struggled to finish it aw I thought I would’ve enjoyed it more 🥲
Me too! I struggled big time.
I loved the male lead (Woo Do Hwan) but I also loved the character named John Na. The fact that it was dubbed in English should have made it easier to get into and binge watch but even that didn't help. I didn't really care for the lead actress, but to be fair the storyline wasn't very interesting to me...
I kind of had an inkling how this was going to turn out based on the subject matter BUT for me my assumptions were confirmed when I was watching a certain scene with Jisoo and Jung Hae In and then I knew that although we didn't see the whole scene in its entirety, we knew what was going to take place when they cut away AND at the end of the show we got to see and hear it play out...
Let me preface this by saying that although some names really stand out, I'm not as familiar "name wise" with Chinese actors as I am with Korean actors....
So, I didn't watch the trailer or anything about this show beforehand so I was just going by the quick write-up on Netflix and I began watching it this morning and I kept looking at the lead male character that transfered to their school and all I kept thinking was "Gee that actor looks like the guy from Mysterious Love but that actor is much older." 🤪🤪🤪 But finally I think it was maybe halfway through the movie I really needed to know who was this guy so I looked up his bio and started laughing when I saw that it IS the same actor from Mysterious Love 🤣🤣🤣
Sometimes theses actors can really morph into younger looking characters if that's what the script calls for but regardless I'm still laughing.,.
