I appreciate that it's a different kind of drama. I like that the protagonists aren't the typical good and/or perfect people. On the contrary, I like the way the characters are presented and how they change as they develop. However, I didn't like the drama's structure. That part is very typical of any adapted drama; they try to recreate the webtoon scenes and skip over things that should have happened for those scenes to occur. So, for me, the adaptation falls short, as they try too hard to make a live-action version, and many scenes are very exaggerated, while others don't make sense.
Things I liked: The actors. In general, the roles of the main cast must have been extremely demanding for them. The OST was very pleasant, as was the cinematography. By the way, so many handsome guys, but most of them were crazy, haha.
Overall, it was entertaining, but I think she deserved to die in the ending. 8 out of 10.

The characters are so likeable, but the plot after the second part is so messy that is awful.
I liked the characters, part of the cast, the OST, the costumes, the locations.
I disliked the second half of the drama after Mu Qi Bai, the direction cause is some scenes it looked so empty with a black screen, and some actors were really soso.
First half is a 10 out of 10, and the second half is really meh. For me 8.5 of 10

It's entertaining, i liked the great cast.

I saw S1 after having that drama on hold for 5 years and it was soooo good, then i started S2 but you can see how the characters 'changed' and i disliked this a little bit for example the princes and Fan Xian were different, for me S1 was better but the S2 also has some good points but in this season they focus a lot more in politics and no in mistery or action like in the previous season, things that were big revelations in S1 were so trivial in S2, like Fan Xian being Emperor's son or the Divine temple being a secret but in S2 a lot people know about this, some characters vanished like the Empress Dowager, sometimes some characters didn't appear for several episodes., and some other specific stuff.
I liked the clothes, the locations, the actors, the character construction and development, some side stories were really entertaining, i liked the wedding and the interactions between characters, and WuZhu being a cyborg was so great.
Anyway for me S1=9.5/10 S2= 9/10

The first half was really good, in fact from eps 1 to 8 it was really enjoyable. I liked te romance and the friendship, the OST and the characters were nice also. However they focused toooooo much in the rituals, like i don't care if you have to draw amulets or dance all the times this parts are not necessary for the drama, the plot is full of holes and coincidences and i didnt like the acting of the ML as Bong Su it looked really fake, but he was great as the ML character.
The plot was nice but then it when through a hole. 8 out 10 for me.

I'm on episode 8, and i usually don't drop dramas, but i read that the ML is forced by a bandit and that some other females in the cast are also subject of SA outside the screen, i can't watch this kind of stuff because they are romanticizing abuse. Dropped at episode 8, those episodes were really entertaining. I don't rate the dramas that i have dropped so, is a - out of 10.

A 'No brain' drama, just watch and enjoy the actors and the characters, it doesn't have anything more. 7 out 10 for me.

It's an OK drama.
Good things: The OST, the acting (in most of them), the cinematography, the filming locations.
Bad things: The plot and the characters setting.
In a romcom, you only need a good story and great chemestry, i think this drama lack in both of the key points, the chemestry between leads it's ok but there is no passion behind, so for a 'married couple' it looks so innocent that somehow lacks the spicy. And the plot is like reading a wattpad story there are things happening but everything is so plane. The actors did what they could with that characters backgrounds.
Anyways i liked that the ML character was different to many other ML he is a 100% green flag and it has some funny moments. I'm sad that there isn't a particular moment or scene that reminds me of the drama, maybe when they were taking the wedding photos.
Overall 7.5/10 for me.

It's ok. The romance and relationship between the leads and the secondary couple are really good, the characters have some development, the costumes and make up are really beautiful, i liked the armors of the soldiers that show how it was difficult to move with it, the OST is also so nice and of course the actors are really great.
On the other hand the story telling isn't as great as the rest, i hate the fact that they didnt show how the 'emperor' got to be the Emperor, they just cut that part. At other parts it was so slow and drag the plot, in others the characters didn't act like themselves and then they went back to normal.
My favourite part was how they worked together at the end. Its worth watching. For me 8.5 out of 10.

Good things: The main couple relationship, started toxic, but evolved into an enjoyable romance; The action scenes, kudos to the action director; the attention to details like the story makes sense in a lot parts of the drama; the complex of the characters definitely not everyone is completely good or completely bad; The clothes and the ambientation.
Bad things according to me: The casting, like the males are all baby-faced but none of them look like their fathers or mothers LOL, OK that part isn't as bad, but the casting of Xia Jing Shi is sooooo bad like for real i haven't seen an actor in a big role being as bad as him, but not for being the bad guy, but for bad actor, his face barely shows anything, only like 10% of his scenes are well acted, uff, poor director i guess he or they had a lot of work in his scenes. Some parts of the story are really boring, like i could bing all the drama, but when the boring parts arrive i had to pause and continue another day. The second half of the drama isn't as good as the first half, and the ending is so rushed, they should cut the part were they pick flowers over and over, and some nonsense politics with the two cities.
Overall pretty good. 8.5 out of 10.

The plot was like and old wattpad story, all over the place and non sense. Nice costumes, OST and the Dowager Empress acting was so good, better than the rest of the cast. 6.5 for me

The best episodes are between 20 and 34. The rest focuses on gossip and feels like a Mexican or Turkish soap opera, where what matters most is what others think and what happens are gossipy things like divorces or cheating.
The final resolution was very good; the costumes, cinematography, OST, and the actors, especially the more experienced ones like the main villain, were very good. The relationship between the main characters was the best; they communicated and had a close chemistry like camaraderie, although when it came to the romance, when they kissed, there wasn't much chemistry; that part felt forced.
Overall, it's an acceptable drama to pass the time, but it's overly dramatic in some parts. I don't think it will leave a lasting impression on me. 7.5 out of 10 for me.

Ohhh i'm finally agree with a list, the top3 (IU, Park Bo Young and Jung So Min) for real i would watch a drama just for any of them.

I'm in love with time travel type of dramas. I like it the main plot, the cinematography and direction, the actors, the intrigue is so good, on the other hand the female lead was a little weak, the OST was kind of meh and some parts were just 'how convenient', but in general is a really good and entertaining drama. For me 8.5 out 10.

Anyways, sometimes i overthink when is just a drama, and i liked it was entertaining and I laughed a lot, especially every time the king arrived, who went in slow motion and looking cool, and when characters appeared and they always show the name, haha.

Lee Joon Gi played Gong Gil in the King and the Clown, but in that movie the character is really different.

Well, i know even when i'm not korean, cause this character has been adapted many times in different dramas, maybe i'm just asuming that she knows about him when she doesn't? Cause he kind of lost his mind when he realized that 'his mother' was the deposed queen and not he one that he thought it was. And i forgot to mention that when Gong Gil character appered, i could only think in Lee Joon Gi hehe

I know is a drama based in some historical characters that are not the represented in the drama, cause time travel doesn't exist neither this characters, i'm just saying that is interesting that in fact he accept that he commited all the crimes the first purge, the eviction of the inhabitants of the hunting area and even having taken many women away from their families, whether or not they were returned later, he is a criminal but at the end his ending was better than other characters that weren't criminals.
And about the FL, yes she didn't remember every detail they show this in the drama in several episodes, but at least she knew why the king was going crazy about his mom dead, but she never shared a small detail to him, and at some point she tought she changed everything (In fact she did change a part), and i have seen tons of time travel dramas i know some characters are heroes, some try to fix their past, some try to help as long as they can and some others are selfish is not a crime, it's just the type of character.
And oh the production cut the ending? Many dramas film different endings and some other are cut cut cut like the case of any chinese drama, at the end that doesn't change anything cause the ending we know is the same.
Now you talk about the source material, it is ok, but i haven't read it, so i'm just talking about the drama adaptation.
