lol feel free to write a non-romance article or recommend topics for other writers in the feeds ;) there are plenty of lovely non-romance related articles too if you're willing to do a bit scrolling https://kisskh.at/articles
"regarding this percentage lakorns should already cover all the persons concerned" IM SCREAMING OMFG but yes. there is a lot of biasness against obsessive female characters. great article! reminds me of hwasa's twit....liking someone to the point of losing yourself is just pitiful and also a huge burden on whoever's on the receiving end of that. any sort of fanaticism is bad and putting people on pedestals never ends well. love how u covered it in such a humorous and lighthearted manner :D
the coughing up blood thing is actually related to the different genres of historicals: wuxia (martial arts, a bit of flying, minimal to no cgi, mostly between royalty and rarely any magical beings involved...basically a low fantasy setting. legend of fuyao would be a good example), xianxia (heavy cgi, all about magical beings, martial arts are there but relies mostly on magic, high fantasy setting. think ashes of love), and the 3rd type is the regular historicals based on history, not related to any sort of magic whatsoever. mostly between royalty again. empress of china is my fav from this type. basically Chinese historicals are set heavily on the concepts of Daoism, and internal energy (Qin) is a pretty big thing in that. kinda like utilizing your whole body to it's fullest capacity. goes into spiritualism territory. basically they believe in using the entire circulatory system to cure any kind of thing. so when they fight with that in battle, the thing affected is their heart. coughing up blood seems to be their way of showing it. ill actually get back to this with more sources later lol. even I know just the basics-ish.
(on another note tho, I did a tally of how many times they coughed up blood in legend of fuyao lol)
