If Yunjae hadn’t been there someone else would still have been the viewers favorite in his place. And there still would have been drama. They should have recast everyone because then there wouldn’t have been rumors going around and people wouldn’t doubt what's genuine or not with the cast.

The re-shoot was such a bad idea. They should have either cancelled it or cast all new members. This season is very boring, with little to no chemistry between the cast.

Unfortunately, the production is also to blame for this. If they had edited the show better and taken a different approach from the start—focusing on the actual dating instead of the drama- Hyunjun × Sunwook could have been a popular and well-loved couple. Now it's ruined...

The production is such a failure. There are two potential couples but we only get a few moments of them each episode. Instead, they focus on drama rather than the actual dating.

I wouldn’t say that Hyunjun is an alpha male lol. I get the feeling he enjoys being pursued without doing much in return - and that’s totally fine. His exes seem pretty similar to him, not at all like the ‘cute’ and extroverted type that Sunwook is. It’ll be interesting to see if they’re actually a couple now that the show has ended.

He’s not “allowed” to post on his own Instagram until the show is over, so that’s probably why. They’re most likely a couple - because if they had broken up after the show, would Sunwook’s friend really go to Hyunjun’s club to celebrate her birthday?
Of course, they could also just be friends now after the show. I guess time will tell.

It kind of looks like Hyunjun and Sunwook might still be together after the show. Yesterday they celebrated a girl’s birthday at Hyunjun’s club, and she’s friends with Sunwook. She even reposted a post of Hyunjun choosing Sunwook on her Instagram.

Exactly. Yunjae needs someone who can take the lead, make him feel relaxed, and bring out his laughter. Someone who enjoys traveling and trying new things together. That’s just not Hyunjun lol.

Why hate him for that? They brought him in for a reason. It’s not his fault.

There are just a few troll accounts on X doing this. I know their usernames since they keep spamming the same thing over and over. Just report and block them.

This season feels really underwhelming. The cast doesn’t seem to have much fun together - a lot of the time they’re just lying in bed waiting for the next activity. And adding eliminations changed the atmosphere in a way that doesn’t really help the show.

Did they change the editing team? Everything looks so grey and muted, which makes the overall mood feel heavier. Season 2 was also filmed in winter, but it had a much warmer tone and color grading. The music felt lighter, too. The cast dynamic seemed more natural - they cooked together, talked during meals, and the group chemistry came across better.

I understand that the season 4 house might have been a last-minute choice and possibly their only option, but having multiple separate buildings really affects the group dynamic. It makes everything feel more divided and less cohesive.

Honestly, I think they should’ve either canceled this season or recast the entire cast.

I’ve liked Hyunjun & Yunjae from the beginning, but after hearing Hyunjun’s line in the teaser - “My feelings haven’t changed, if anything they’ve grown stronger” - I’ve kind of accepted that they’re probably not happening. It seems pretty clear that he’s talking about Sunwook. And Sunwook has really fought for Hyunjun, so good for him.
If it hadn’t been a re-shoot, maybe things would’ve been different… or maybe not. Who knows?

In the previews, Hyunjun can be heard in a voiceover saying: “I once loved him, so I hesitated,” and “Nothing has changed- if anything, my feelings have grown.” I’m not sure if the translation is accurate, since “loved” is such a strong word. But who is he talking about here?

Since he says “once,” it would seem to point to Sunwook- but if that’s the case, why wouldn’t he acknowledge it in the first episode? Instead, he only said that Sunwook is his type, nothing more. (Or wasn’t he allowed to say anything about his feelings in the past shoot?)

Meanwhile, when talking about Yunjae, he said he was interested in him and wanted to ask him out on a date. I’m confused, lol.

And we know that Hyunjun and Sunwook will be going on a date soon, and from the little we’ve seen so far, they look very happy and smiley together.

I agree with you. If Hyunjun wasn't interested the first time around, when it's been made clear that Sunwook was interested and they had a date together, I can't really see Hyunjun changing his mind now either.
