It's interesting that we all have different taste because the main leads insane chemistry is what got me addicted to this show! You're definitely in the minority but it's fun to hear your opinion of course.

Exactly. I mean I gave a 10 to RL which has a rape scene but that scene doesn't affect my overall rating or my overall thoughts of the rest of the show which I loved. I definitely wish they haden't included that scene though. But China seems to have a bit of different views on such things...
I love this show as well and my overall rating won't be affected by the latest ep.
I haven't watched KinnPorsche but there's apparently a scene like that in that show as well yet people hate on this while they loved that show.

Chinese BL's are kinda unstoppable. RL had a rape scene in ep 1 and it grew to be one of the most popular BL's of 2025 and this show will most likely do great as well despite of today's ep. Chinese BL's are something else.

Most likely they're doing it because the rape/sa is between the main leads and that irks people.

Ok. But you can still you know...just not include it in the show/fiction quite easily. Rape doesn't make any story better exactly. But that's my opinion.

Did I say that I agreed with his actions in ep 1? No. Because I didn't. But we're talking about this show right now and how omegaverse works different depending on the author/writer. Rape is optional.

There doesn't exist just one specific omegaverse world out there though (where they all act like animals and rape e/o). It's up to the author of that specific fiction how the world will work. I've read tons of sweet omegaverse manhwa where there's consent. So it all depends on the author and what they want to do with it. Darker versions or sweeter versions. But it's all omegaverse.

There's no need for them to meet up in public outside the show. I only watch the shows I like and then I'm done. I don't follow the actors in their private lives and there's no need for them to do fanservice.
(Not to mention that if they go out in public together they might actually get trampled for real...or worse. It wouldn't be safe that's for sure!)

I mean I don't think you can expect too much from a chinese BL when it comes to 'steamy scenes'. I would say that this show has the perfect amount for me personally. Their chemistry is enough.

Definitely watch it all! It's so good. Even if they have cut some scenes this is the best BL I've watched in a long time.

Then it's ok with me at least! I don't care that he's possessive or manipulative and so on. But r*pe is a hard pass. So hopefully they've changed it a bit from the novel.

Yeah I have no problem with problematic characters (red flags) in fiction. I actually quite enjoy it at times. But I draw the line at r*pe when it involves the main couple. That will definitely leave a bad taste in my mouth. If they now include such a scene.

Makes sense with the chemistry thingy as they apparently filmed the scenes from end - start instead of the other way around! (because that way would make it easier for the actors to let go of their characters I believe I read somewhere.)

But for me the main couple's chemistry was insane! 🥰 (main reason that I loved this show lol)
