ok so that’s why I haven’t seen Joss before. I only watch Bls, lol. I don’t think I watched Dark Blue Kiss. I will have to watch that, but yeah love Hawin so much! He’s chameleon who fits in with anyone. He got that classic jock who fits in with everybody kind of vibe! But I am loving him with Joss so much right now! Rewatching the first ep for the millionth time since last week but from what I am reading things are going to get very funny! I hope Mark has his vampire EpiPen. 😂

OH, I was talking about acting in general. I Feel You Lingering In The Air is the best acting I have seen out of Thai BL and that is what I am talking about. I feel like the acting in this serious is as good as IFYLITA. But yeah I am saying this too soon. However, I will keep it as a prayer that the acting stays on point from now until the end.

I need to start reading these bl novels.

oh never said that. it is meeting the standers so far in all the other areas….so much so that once’s again I will be watching every week when I know I shouldn’t….😫

I will say my only small critique is for all the vamp shows that I have scene from Thai….the breathy hiss from vamps. I am sorry but it sounds just too human. I like it when they sound more feral like a cat. Vamps are feral creatures. Like a human and a wild cat. They should have a sound like hard hiss growl, not breathy like this.

But yeah, I know, I am being picky but when you grow up with Buffy the Vampire Slyer and Blade….yeah, you get some high vampire standers.

Sooooo….let me jump on this band wagon here and say…D*ME JOSS IS FINE!!

I think we ALL were right there with Tong at the sight of him! I mean YEEEEEESSSSS!
AND THE HOTEL ROOM SCENE!!!! THE EAR BITTING!!!!!! MARK TASTING TONG’S FINGER!!!!!!!

So many BL actors need to take notes from Gawin and Joss but not just for these scene but for all of it because yeeeeesss! I Feel You Lingering in the Air all over again!!!!

OK, thirstieness out of the way…I have watched this like 6 or so times and it is so good. Again BL actors acting at their finest. Joss is so good at playing this vampire role. I got my fav Thai vamp! Now I need a good wizard, werewolf, and a god to complete my high fantasy bingo card. 😉 How he says his lines to his facial expressions are spot on for a vamp!

Gawin is so cute as a button in this too. But I think ep 2 coming tomorrow will show even more of his playful boy side. But, how Gawin showed how thirsty he is for him was so well done! I love it when shows do moments like this. It feels relatable and real.

Now as for the special affects….i will say not bad. By far not the worst I have seen from Thai. So I can deal. HOWEVER, the scene that will scare me is when the vamps start fighting. If the stunts are not right….it might just irritate me but I will hold my breath and pray for the best. 🤞🤞🤞

Also I just want to point out the way Joss does his face when he and Gawin jump out of the window, just perfect! I know it’s a small moment but I can’t say enough how Joss plays this role is just the best! 👨‍🍳🤌

I am loving the music in this too! By far my favorite Thai BL theme song ever! I also love the music when Tong first meets Mark. It’s nice and dark and perfect for the scene. Yes, I would want something a little bit more sexy, but I am good with this too. I also love how the music is more orchestral than vocal. I feel like I focused more on the scene without the vocals and yes that goes for both Thai and English songs.

Also I just noticed this show already reached a rating of 8.1….wow, I really don’t think I have seen a first ep reach that yet!!!Keep it up The Golden Blood! 💛🩸

oh cuddles! love them! for me between us was a cuddle fest but i feel like team and win where not close enough. i want up close, one tucked under the chin, or half their body curled up or layed over the other. Again, Why R U had one of the best cuddle scenes for me!!!

Ok, so, after thinking and talking on here I have thought more about the one issue I had so far with this show, the fact that Phu in our world and Phu in the parallel world are still the same. I have always believed that in order to be a parallel world everything has to be different right down to the person's personality being different, like if you are nice and sweet in this world you are mean and nasty in the parallel world, but this is up to the author and the story. Parallel worlds can be different from each other like the alt person having the opposite personality of the original person or it can be that things work differently from our world. it’s kind of like an excuse to explore the what ifs, like “what would happen if this happened this way instead of the way it happened here?”. It's all a wibbly wobbly, timey whimey kind of thing (where are my whovian's at? 😉) I also thought alternative world was were you would use the “what if” scenario because what ifs are always used in tandem with alternative world stories but actually alternative is another name for parallel world.

So what I think is going on here is parallel world P Cir’s world splits off from how the current world is. In this case, the what if that separates the worlds from each other is, “what if I (P Cir) did speak to P Phu through the string cups,” because remember the current world’s P Cir never talked to Phu before. So this is the event that splits the two off. And now I understand why Phu in the current world is the same as Phu is the parallel world.

It makes me happy that I figured that out. 😊

you are right. there are times when it does work actually. I forgot about those two and nc does work there. maybe I am just really needing something like BNW where we are taking our time and diving deeper into the romance and cuteness without it being corny like others have. I love the plot too because it makes you think.

I agree with you both. For me I hate it when they just go straight into the nc. I love it more when the passion between the two is just right! I have also been waiting for a show that draws out the desire two people have until it is just too intense for either to handle. This show seems too sweet for that but I love slow burns. It gives us a chance to see the two couples feelings grow into each other (but in this case, see Phu’s grow into Cir’s). Too fast just leaves me feeling that the NC losses its magic and meaning.

i would say no. ep 1's last scene has this world's p cir open a door and we hear alt p phu say, "i finally found you, p cir."
