Don't be afraid of what other people think. I learned that on MDL in another comments area. I used to be afraid to post in areas where there was a lot of back and forth trying to silence part of the community. BadPennyGirl actually helped me get over that. So do like she does. Just fearlessly tell us what you think. Don't feel like your voice doesn't matter. It does!

Also, there's that brief moment when Lian is watching Kuea in the music room and he snaps everything shut when Kuea takes his shirt off. But then it looks like Lian is about to peek again, but Foei comes in. It looked very much like had Foei not entered when he did that Lian would have watched Lian change.

We need some more fun dramas. I feel like this season I have nothing good to watch because of the glorified toxicity and passive aggressive behaviors in the ones I'm running into. But New has finally grown on me and I would be down to see him in a drama where things are less awful.

But then I want the same thing for Nat. Us little gay guys gotta stick together.

I care a lot about toxicity and how it's handled in fiction. But I also think this drama has it's dull moments too. So I have to agree with you there.

Yeah, the unhealthy dynamics being lauded as romantic killed it for me. I don't mind bad behavior but bad behavior presented as cute is a big *no* for me.

I like slow paced. But slow pace doesn't mean dead in the water, no development pace.

You seem very obsessed with proving how popular Cutie Pie is instead of just posting on what you like about it. It's almost like you think telling people who don't like it how popular you think it is will convince them somehow.

Are you really expecting to convince us to like it just because of how many people have already watched it or are talking about it? Am I reading this right?

I can't with the Vampire thing either. He must have seen that on CCTV? And then yeah, leaned into it. So not crazy about that at all.

But overall, I feel the relationship itself is yucky. Lian is not a good person to be in a relationship with.

I did like the development with Yi. He's still being to physically aggressive for me. But it's less each episode. Of all the characters he's the one with consistent growth.

I think plenty of folks here like it. I'm not one of them. But I feel there's equal representation of viewpoints here.

He's not standing up because Lian's winning the war to control him. I think BPG made a smart post about what she thinks is going on. Further up. It's kind of wild.

I find Foei nasty. Creepy nasty. It feels like he's there to remind the audience that the yucky toxic scenes are meant to be romantic, like the moment needs a behind-the-4th-wall cue.

I get it. I dropped it at episode 2 or 3. Zee is beautiful and so is Perth. But their characters were too awful for me.

Kuea is 18/19 and Lian is 26ish? I find that creepy in and of itself. But at least that has setup to it.

This is a balanced review and I don't think you need to fear people hating on it. Some of us will be a lot less generous. Trust me.
