That’s actually the essence of acting—portraying the character as written and directed. Her ‘babyish’…
What nonsense is this? In most of her roles she was aggressive as f* — The Witch, Itaewon Class, Our Beloved Summer, and Soulmate. Don’t just listen to rumors, go watch and judge for yourself.
After today’s 4th episode, I really don’t like the idea of Yeong-rye being with Jaebil, as the trailers suggest — always as the ‘backup option’ when things don’t work out with Jong-hui.
Being a second choice in any relationship is never good — a big no-no for me.
I hope that in the second part, after the 7-year time jump, Yeong-rye shows real growth and finds someone who values her as their first and only choice. If she does end up with Jaebil, then there has to be a very bold, convincing reason for me to accept it.
I may be from the ’80s generation, but that just means I’ve seen enough to know: no one deserves to be treated like a backup.

I understand your point. Of course, everyone is free to have their own expectations and opinions. My point was simply that Da-mi’s standing in the industry — awards, lead roles, recognition — is not just my opinion but widely acknowledged. That’s why I called it objective. You’re entitled to feel disappointed, but let’s keep the discussion respectful without questioning each other’s maturity. No hard feelings from my side.
I can't digest Kim Da mi's acting nowadays. what happened to her? was she supposed to play as a Kid? i couldn't…

Rude ? Ok whatever. Get your facts straight first the talk. If it's just a "drama" then why all this drama in the comment section huh? 🤔 . Have a good day too.

I’ve been a fan of Da-mi since 2020, and she can own any role she takes—psycho to baby, that’s a fact. Just because it annoys you (or a few others) doesn’t mean her acting is bad. If you don’t like her performance, simply stop watching the drama. She’s one of the top names in the Korean industry. Facts. Opinions are like Bu.......oles .....everyone has one.

Yeong-rye is an innocent soul—you can clearly see that. If you watch closely, she’s like a baby only around people she feels close to, like her friend. She doesn’t act that way all the time.

I'm not talking to you directly, my comment was mostly for the people who judge Da-mi's "baby and immature acting" under your comment. That's why i say "people". Da-mi acts like how her character is written and personally i love her bubbly expressions. She's a charm.
I don't know who told Kim Dami to act like a 10-year-old in this, but it's... not a great choice imo. Especially…
Actors don’t just “do whatever they want.” They perform inside the director’s vision — but the best performances often come from that mix of guidance plus the actor’s own touch.
No matter how much freedom actors have, the director (and sometimes producers) has the final word. If the director says, “Do it this way,” the actor usually does.
I don't get what's your problem with Da-mi is. She's a well known actress and very versatile in her acting skills.
If it bothers you people, there's plenty of other "mature" series you can watch. No hard feelings.
