This drama was packed with cliché but I managed to like it lol.
Cha Jung Woo was very funny and adorable and Ae Ra was a bit too much for my taste but it's the way Lee Min Jung plays so whatchu gonna do? lol
Ok, this drama should be called "Detective" because it's completely lacking the Vampire element. Each time I'm hoping San vampire self will be reveled but nope...
On a 63/ 67 minutes episode, we literally get 60 seconds of glowing yellow eyes each episode and then... nothing. Even then his eyes are just glowing but not adding anything special to the case of the day. It's kind of frustrating.
I really love the main cast, but somehow, I still find it boring...
Episode 3 was especially bland and boring. Also it's starting to put me off that every case is related to Yoon San ex-gf, granted we are only episode 3, but apparently it will go in the same direction episode 4.
The good thing is we are only at episode 3 so there is a lot of time for improvement. Please be good show. I want to at least like you.
Loved this drama. It reminded me of the time where I was watching Ugly Betty haha. Most of all I enjoyed the friendship in this drama, but I also liked the romance. I like that he didn't try to change Soo Young. I couldn't care less for the arc about his brother in the last episode but I suppose it was necessary...
I liked this drama. The first episodes, I had a hard time because I felt like even if the landscapes were beautiful, it wasn't filmed really well, but I continued to watch it just to see and enjoy Seung Po's antics and I don't regret it. As the episodes went by I started to really like everyone and their interactions together. Also I loved loved loved the clothes. So beautiful!!!
You know how sometimes a movie is bad but you still like it ? In this case it was a little bit of the contrary. It wasn't bad bad but I couldn't like it despite the cast. The plot amounted from slim to none. There were no real reasons as to why they were sent where they were, etc... and there was no justification for any of it. The movie just felt blank and very boring :(
So it's Yay for all Japanese dramas and Nay for all Korean dramas ? ;) Just kidding!
Thanks for the recommendations, I was looking for Japnanese dramas to watch :)
Thanks to the coments here, I was able to enjoy this drama. I fast forwarded everything concerning Han Mink Yuk and Grandma (they didn't interest me anyway), Sara's mother and friend and some parts with the in-laws and then jumped from episode 14 to 20. It was perfect like this because since I was fastforwarding some parts of the drama it didn't feel long at all.
So, I liked it. I was a little bit lacking but since I didn't have to go throught unecessary angst I did enjoy it.
You describe exactly how I felt about this drama. Except I couldn't bring myself to give it more than 5/10. Actually thinking back about it made me even more mad because the first half was so good but the second half made me hate it... all this drama and silliness, and unecessary suffering... grrrr
I just saw the 47 Ronin, and it said that Akanishi Jin was in it. I can't recognize him. Is there someone who…
I just saw the movie and he is the son of the chief who is leading the attac against Kira. For me you can't miss him since he is like the youngest Ronin in the movie + he is the only one who is graced and don't have to do the seppuku (suicide) :)
In episode 18, Jin Hee feelings for Chang Min felt rushed and forced. Not the part where she was genuinly concerned about him, trying to make him eat or the part with the cookie fortunes because it was really sweet. I am talking about the part where she declares her love to him, it felt totally unatural. For me it came out of nowhere. We didn't get to see her love him back, having feelings of love for him. There are still 3 episodes left so they didn't have to shove this declaration all of a sudden like that in this episode. I don't know, maybe I missed the part where it happened... Anyway it's nice to see that she has warmed up to Chang Min even if I feel a little twinge of regret for her and chief Gook.
Am I the only one that didn't like the kiss? I don't find forceful kisses cute or romantic, I hope she slaps him.
I wasn't a fan of that kiss either. When I saw it, I was like here we go again with the forceful kiss that's supposedly romantic *roll my eyes*. Plus he yanked her on her arm and I was like 'she just go a fractured collarbone and now you just yank her on the other arm like that'. *Sigh*
