Ep 1 was 1.8% and ep 2 up to 2.7%. Its literally the highest opening week among Channel A dramas. Even the highest peak ones Show Window: The Queen’s House and Lie After Lie started lower in their 1st week. The recent 2 works at the same channel and slot, Marry You and Cinderella at 2 AM, only averaged 0 point something %
Yep the TV rating for 2nd ep jump up after the already good numbers of 1st ep. If the upward trend continues it may set new record for Channel A series.
Wow this drama seem to be more prestigious than I thought to be for this type of lighter fusion romance sageuk. They actually managed to get very powerful veterans supporting cast like Kim Eui Sung - Yoon Je Moon, mostly movie actors who in drama only starred in big productions esp. when in sageuk. Then Kim Min Jung - Han Jae Suk who had been on hiatus quite awhile but pick this drama to be their comeback.
There also Japan big entertainment company Pony Canyon agree to cooperate in K Drama production for the first time.
I wonder if Kyuhan and Yool is together joining this drama or just one of them, reject the drama and the other…

Luckily they edited the cast and role names awhile ago, otherwise it would be more ridiculous. They put names of known actors like Yoon Hyun Min, Ahn Nae Sang etc in it. And have the role names like Cheon Il Hwa Kang Sung Hoon etc, whereas the reality are Matthew Lee, Geum Ra Hee etc. Zero similarity.
Even in Korea the drama was kept in secret before today, so its so weird on how the contributor and even editor of MDL dare to publish it.
Who was the one who filled all the information about this drama? Nothing's right. The plot synopsis, also the previous cast and character names before it was edited awhile ago. They're all missed the mark so far that its hilarious. Don't tell me you made up the "prison escape" plot just based from the title.

Thanks for the info. Well if its true, then I just hope SBS knows what they're doing, since the previous drama has very low TV ratings whereas this drama has the genre and lead cast of potentially get higher ratings. All in all hopefully the ending later won't feel unfinished, since with this kind of genre, even with 16 eps often feel not enough, let alone less.
I'm confused of the number of eps. The next drama was announced to air Nov 11, which means this drama won't be 16 eps. And yet its unusual for K Drama to have 14 eps, and if they want to have 1 week of empty slot between 2 dramas, this kind of genre doesn't seem to be enough with just 12 eps length neither.
Her development is quite fast for a 16 yo new non-former child actress. Currently not many new actresses her age range, esp. no one this prolific in just a year. If she can keep the pace maybe she'll start to get main role not far in the future. Her height is also already enough.
Soo Hyun/Seo Hee dynamic makes me giddy. He's so protective of her. Their dialogues "So you're the type to be speechless when angry", "And your style is to make jokes when feel guilty", cracked me up LOL. Even their initials are SH/SH.
I hope KJE's "main role" here would have more screentime. Her "main role" screentime in Again My Life was minuscule.
I don't think she can hv minuscule screentime even if she wants to haha... 2 from 3 remaining main cast's roles are related to hers. LDH plays her dad, CDH plays her fiancé. She also 2nd-billed only below NKM.
Its a pleasant surprise that the Master Sword God actually taken a shine to the female lead instead of the male protag haha... Chase her to be his disciple.

But we already have several of those this year with Beautiful World, Moment of 18, Class of Lies, even Kim Hye Yoon's SKY Castle. So it's refreshing to finally get something lighter and fun.
