💯 agree on all your points. The writer spoiled this drama for me just bcoz of Bai Jue's very twisted Sacrificial Goat Philosophy of love. Heck Qing Mu had more strength to respect Houchi's decision to accept the 41/47 thunderbolts together beside him. Bai Jue's one nod apology for so painfully hurting these 2, because he miscalculated, was so unsatisfactory. Such brilliant characters all over the story and the writers portrayal of Bai Jue towards the end, left me with a bitter unsatisfactory after taste.
